Me too, I hope that there isn't some crazy formula Gree uses for the 10th pendant which makes it near impossible to get. I would love 25% faster upgrade times.

Well even if we get 10th pendant we have no idea whether modify will work a lot players have suggested that it doesn't work straight away

I just hit 9. Took a LOT of successful opens between 8-9. The last "previously ios only but now months later an Android only event" I had 4 successful opens that were not paintings from 1-10!

That's crazy rare and will probably never happen again. It's more common to have ~50+ successful opens between items 8-9 and/or items 9-10.

When I got the Loaded Dice (in April) they worked immediately, so good luck for you guys on android. If your (android's) Devil's Takedown started working right away then I don't see why the dice wouldn't.

Oh I definitely know that was luck! There were actually quite a few of us that got it by day 2 easily. We were thinking the "item" rate wasnt changed from the 20 item events.

I don't know so much about luck, I think your right how the item rate hadn't changed for that event. I got 8,9,10 in a row with 4 days left in that event. I would rather have this 10th item over that one though, I don't seem to need the faster energy recharge rate. No complaining though...

I'm 100% with you on that! I'm pissed that I still haven't heard anything about the effed up PvP event we had. I already have a 10% reduction so if I get an extra 25%, sweeeeeet! To think that if I got the 10% reduction that I deserved from the PvP event that would be 45%!!!!!

Well, it's certainly doable. I just got my 10th item using cash only option. I haven't figured out if it has kicked in yet, I hadn't been paying attention to the upgrade I have in progress. I'll find out for sure tomorrow.

You should read the thread about "bracketing", I'll add the link when I find it again.

Basically, a higher mafia level will expose you or make you visible to others with similar mafia levels or higher. When you drop mafia to a certain level it places you in a different bracket with less exposure to high mafia players.

At lvl 91 your max usable mafia is 455. Best thing to do is to drop lower level allies until you reach 455 or lower. Also take a look at your items (I put mine into a spreadsheet) and figure out where you get the best defense boost for the money (riot shields, blast shields, tasers). Also building 50 gatling guns (or reinforced towers if you spend gold) levels 2-3 can help.

After reading about bracketing I dropped my mafia by 250, and it made the world of difference on the frequency of higher player attacks/robs on me.

just received 9/10. 3d03h left, so there is a chance to get 10th gem still :) definitely 9th and 10th pieces are hardest in this event.
The drop rate of safe deposit cracks is less than before for me. I have 30 of them now. After 2 days of previous event I had about 90 of event "boxes".

The faster upgrade modifiers don't stack that way.

Regular time -25% faster = new time 75% of regular time.

New time (75% of regular time) -10% faster = new time 67.5% of regular time

New time (67.5% of regular time) -10%.....

Get it?

I have the loaded dice and two -10% items, all stacked they should be giving me 39.25% faster upgrades, but something is not working properly right now. One of my -10% isn't working and my loaded dice are working double, probably having something to do with the loaded dice being on android now. Either way, for now my upgrades are ~49% faster, but after they get everything fixed it should be 39.25%.

Also, just kind of an fyi here, if you have an upgrade in progress when you get the dice, don't freak out when nothing happens. The modifier applies to new upgrades only. If you're upgrading when you get the dice, you just have to wait until the upgrade is complete to use them. They work though.

This event must be on the same rate as the 20. I'm trying to farm prize items and keep getting pendants, I'm up to 14.

Well it worked i managed upgrade my House to level 10 ( only 48 hours instead of 85:17:52 )

I cant wait for tomorrow to test it out. I am currently upgrading my Rock Cafe but I am going to work on the goal of upgrading my Sports Bar to level 10. I should have a 35% reduction on the time (should be 45% but got screwed out of the android pvp event). My upgrade from level 8-9 should go from 110 hours down to 71 1/2 hours. That saves almost 2 days!

i'm getting almost 50% reduction in time...

i have upgraded a gatling turret from lvl 1 to lvl 2, normally 4 hours, only took 2 hrs and 5 min. currently upgrading a fancy restaurant from lvl 2 to 3, normal time=12 hr 15 min, gonna take 6 hr and 15 min.
