It's merely on victories. The event you're referencing was specifically "on different players". This is simply "most victories".

They grey area is does that count as robberies? Those are PVP victories too D:

IF I had something to shoot for...like a stat increasing item I would be more inclined to buy gold once in a while in case I need it for an event just to get me closer to that magical item...but I have nothing to shoot for if it's just a beatstick.

I am not and never a gold player, I still WON the Blood Ripper from the last PVP 1 year anniversary event. I am very positive about this event too.

That was way different. The anniversary event was "most successful attacks against different players", and there was no official clarification so it's possible that a lot of contenders didn't qualify because they didn't spread out their attacks.

When it's straigt quantity of wins, the top X number of big spenders buying stamina refills will be fighting for a top 10 spot. Back when they ran the Underboss PVP tournament there weren't a whole lot of free players in the top 50, iirc.

I would be willing to bet that the players who already know about this event and intend to try for top 10 already have their 600 wins.

All you need to do is 10-0 60 different rivals...that isn't really that tough. The only limiting factor is that stamina takes forever to regenerate for me D:

street demon was the only top prize i received from new style events as well. i dont even manage to get to 20 now. if i reach 10 i already considered myself as a finished winner

I got your point, however, to earn the Spiked Gladiator only require to earn 600 PVP victories. This is the only item I am aiming for as I know I am no match for gold players for the Top 10. At least, GREE, never limit any players from achieving this. I believe as long clock a min of 600 victories, should be able to receive this item.

Unless your next item to be replaced is 101 attack/129 defense in the armor category, I think everybody would be happy...

I have 8 items over 100 attack IN GENERAL. Therefore...I am excited.

I strongly agree is very possible. I did a calculation, for every 2.5mins = 1 Stamina points,

24 points for 1 hour
576 Points for 24 hour
1152 Points for 48 hour
1728 Points for 72 hour

This is a 72 Hours Event so I still think be focus and still be able to get a free item.

Explosives have a chance of being consumed after a fight. PVP Weapons have a chance of dropping after a fight. Explosives can be consumed from robberies or attacks. PVP Weapons are only dropped after attacks.

you have a couple of days to get the 600 victories - with the goodfella upgrade you get 532 stamina a day, it shouldn't really be that hard..

Good point. I'm just now getting into CC ( long time MW player) and it seems you level up super fast and I don't want to be under powered for the next boss event.

Free items just do it and get it for free. Similar item up on sales cost few hundred gold. Not worth it at all.

Allowing only the top 10 to get a better item offers me no motivation to spend gold on this event like I did for the black widow as I know there will be at least 20 people spending mondo gold to hit the top spot, and I'll be traveling 3 of those days, besides.. The rich get richer..

Exactly...broaden the prize pool and they'll have me spending a little bit of gold here and there.

EDIT: game making no sense again...losing 2/3 fights to a person with 5k less defense than my attack <.< No more trying to go for TL goals during this event...stamina too costly :/

Honestly, that's a pretty weak item for winning 600 fights in 3 days, but since it is free and I and do thug life goals at the same time, oh well. I just feel sorry for the players who kept getting a beating from me because they have 500+ mafia....

@ Everyone wondering about robs, PVP tournaments are FIGHTS ONLY unless you specifically see the word "robbery" mentioned. Player versus building is not the same as player versus player, and robberies are much easier to win than fights.

i think you can safely assume from here on out if Android doesn't receive an event or tourny the same time as IOS it is IOS only and vice versa, it has been proven that Gree/funzio can't or won't release the same events on both devices simultaneously, either they just wont do it or they just don't know how

Look at Lupo. I can pretty much guarantee that there will be 9 more players like that. So if you are less then 1000-1500 wins by now don't waste your gold. Make it to 600 and get your prize.
That shouldn't be top 10. At least top 25.
