Wow good call, I was thinking the reason that we weren't getting it was because it hadn't been coded yet for our platform.

With this knowledge, there's no reason we shouldn't have this yet! (other than the obvious prejudice against android players, of course.)

Well, if you do go and see him, he is supposed to give you another in game item. So that will be 2 things you expect to get and don't.;)

There must be some difference on their side, between adding items to android and ios.

Unless it had something to do with the rifle being a limited edition item. And that seems pretty likely, since android users are now reporting getting it and that item is no longer purchasable.

I don't think you understand people's frustration over not getting what was promised/guaranteed/owed whatever term you want to use, free or not free. To tell someone they can't complain is absolutely crazy and inconsiderate. I know for a fact you have complained about not receiving something and NO ONE told you not to and it was making everyone upset on Android. Every time something goes wrong on ios, there are tons of pages complaining and/or whinning about it. Have I ever told someone not to complain or voice their displeasure!? That is what the forum was intended for. Voice your concerns and CJ or CCM or whoever comes to the rescue and fixes the problem for the masses! My complaints about the game are NOT intended for you, so I could care less about the way you feel. If you are on ios and you got the weapon, good for you but don't sit there and tell someone they don't have a reason to be upset when you would be upset if the shoe was on your foot. Support is there to FIX problems that exist with their game. Someone not getting something is a PROBLEM. Free or not. If you don't have a problem with not receiving an item then don't read or respond to the thread, because obviously you have nothing constructive to contribute to people being upset about not receiving a free item to a free game.

You're missing the point, Pawn etc al. it's the principle. The iOS items were distributed over a week ago. No support for Android? Fine, take it off of Google Play and discontinue it. I haven't received the Prototype Rifle or a response from CCM that I shouldn't expect to receive the item. Either one would shut me up. There seems to be a lot if promising what they can't deliver and it's getting old (see Ferr's posts on the MW forum). Look me in the eye and tell me the way it is, and I'll react how I see fit. We don't even deserve that, apparently.

You wouldn't think these things would be a big deal for them, would you? There has to be a lot of work involved with recent Events/Updates and MQ is gonna have a few birthing/growing pains. You'd think someone could just pop a few items into player inventory before they leave for the day, but what do I know?

He took down my forum name, as well as Earls' invite code and he told us that when he went back to his hotel he'd figure out an item and put it in our inventories. None of of 4 or 5 PMs went answered, nor earls'. It was cool to get some questions answered and all, but that was on October 13. All he did was come back, put up the poetry topic and do the skype call, I have no idea if we're even still going to get it, he's said nothing.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure he's crazy busy, but don't say you're going to do something then not do it and pretend it never happened. With the survey item, it got half done - iOS received it but android didn't.

I agree. The problem here is that they're setting expectations and failing to deliver. It would be better to just not promise us anything. I still haven't received an item for attending the Skype call. Had to get the hookers to keep quiet in the car during the call too. And everybody knows that the worst thing in the world is an angry ho. Lmao

Well the skype call thing, I think he said you guys were getting something. :p I put in about the equivalent of 240 gold to get me to NYC that day, so I want hope he gives me something equivalent. 2x $11.50 one-way tickets lol.

Yup I read & knew, been following this thread. I was hoping at least CCM or any Gree staff could at least reply. If they are working on it, at least I know wait is needed. If it won't be given, at least do tell, so I could get over it & just move on. :(

Yup, same here. Boss event prizes sure are nice though. Gree finally did something right for a change. Eventhough it started off pretty f'd up. I guess what gree is telling us is that we need to complain more and piss off the ios users because their complaints are the only ones listened to.:rolleyes:

I wonder if they are so slow to respond to android problems because they don't have any android developers on the forum. I've seen CJ54 seen post numerous times on the ios problems but not on the android ones. He seems pretty knowledgable it'd be nice to hear from a developer on the droid side for a change.

LMAO. It was alright... Kinda weird starting over again though. :) Collecting small amounts of money from buildings or robberies just didn't cut it after my big collections on the iOS acct. plus everything is soooooo small compared to on the iPad. CC is a lady distracting enough from real life without having to babysit 2 accounts. :)
