Your fever had been building up steadily over the past 3 weeks, coming to a full boil with you-know-what. The real life community aspect of this forum no longer existed for you, just the game alone. You are by no means the 1st to do this, nor will you be the last. But, you're only the 2nd person ever in the last 1/2 year to show enough real-life strength of character to stop by addressing people as a community (the other was G Wiz). The CC forum as a whole has a significant health problem. This thread demonstrates you really do care about the community, and not solely the game.

BTW, that last line in your OP... Nice! Definitely signature worthy IMHO.

I'm taking myself off the hitlist for a couple of weeks. I'm saving to upgrade my upscales to level 10. So there we are. I'm off the list until further notice.

The threads were nuked primarily because so many people completely misconstrued the message. Maybe it was too complex to suggest we would have a specific set of rivals that we were going to target to the exclusion of all others.

More to the point, the drama was such that we were concerned that a few people were actually teetering on the brink of complete mental breakdown ;)

So, inspired by the words and philosophy of JM, our illustrious fellow Indian, we've simplified things, and come up with a much more straightforward plan...
