Edit: 2 complaints. 9 items = 4 weak prizes and I hate that there are 2 events running at the same time!

The top prize is much weaker than a top 250 prize. Not excited about this event at all! I would rather spend money to compete for a great top 250 prize knowing I get that as well as 4 higher than these stat items.

It's not on iOS. We only have the epic boss. The last 10 item event was the one for the corpse maker which gives you 50% more on robs. It's the only 10 event item I have.

Looks like a rehash of an old iOS event? Would have been nice if the items were adjusted for inflation :(

And I have confirmed looting Crates off iOS players (people with Boss event loot). Probably because this is a rehash and iOS players technically have Crates already associated with their record.

At least its not a Top 100/10 event? (A plastic bone)

So far I've 1 painting out of 3 tries. To be honest, I like this event. 10 successful open to get to grand prize, easily achievable & stress free~ Can save up my SP for adding to other stats. I think Confession Bringer (+65% recovers energy faster) would help a great deal for my future events coz my energy runs out pretty fast during event. thanksss Gree for this great event & gd luck all! =D

Edit: All open via cash only. No intention of using gold unless during the last hr... >_<

U can also get crate by attacking or robbing ppl if you're lucky enough, if it is an android exclusive event, try to rob droid players only. But for this event, it seems that crates are dropping from both droid & ios players from wat I read.

Np man.. Erm can't name a specific job coz its really random I think. Try to do the job that consume the most energy or a job that requires u to do more than once, so far I don't repeat same job as I do not wish to gain unnecessary exp unless u feel that the loot is worth ur effort to do the same job again. Not likely - this Android event is an old iOS event that was recycled.

Wow. I'm going for the PvP event and have accumulated 95 crates! I have easily gotten 7 paintings and 1 $25,000 using all cash opens (a few fails in between of course). I havent even set the hourly alarm on my phone!

Easy. I have 45 stamina and used 270 gold on resets. I go 45-0 on players with 500+ mafia so that I continuously accomplish my thug life goals at the same time. I typically have 20,000+ more attack than others' defense even though I have 100 less mafia members than them! I have bought 50 RPGs and about 40 yamaha race bikes with the RPs I have been receiving. I am close to leveling up again so I will then have 47 stamina (I saved a skill point).

And no 150 gold will not garantee anything in the 10th event item , even 15k gold might not get you the item :p
It is all down to luck , nothing else in event 10 .

I did like I said I got nothing but paintings at first, then I was using gold just on the hour and I did not get a painting for like 10-12 tries. So I got antsy and started doing timer resets to see if that helped and for me it did. I've been holding onto my gold pile for like 6-7 weeks due to crappy crates and just wanted to get something nice. I don't regret the gold spent, I've got the money so why not enjoy :) oh yeah and the 65% faster energy refill is a nice bonus.

I have 38,000+ attack plus 145 attack from skill points. The only reason I started to build my mob was to see bigger mafia members in my rivals list. I was able to see 500+ rivals when I had around 375-380 members. I had to sometimes refresh the screen a few times to get them but I did. I now have around 415 members and get them all the time.

Weird, is this event tiered as well? I know the iOS one is.

I just hit lvl 53 and my normal prizes have all changed. For example, I'm getting Racer Z instead of Pimp Lowrider, Ballistic Vest instead of Bomb Suit, 300 R instead of 100.

Got the gun. The easiest event freaking ever.... Last 3 opens gave me paintings. Definitely NOT old style type of event :)

Those wondering about the different items: There are different tiers based on your current level. The higher your level the better the items. The modifier is the same though for the last item.

I think they have upgraded the crate's items as well. I thought the last tier was unlocked at level 81, but I'm getting higher amounts of (and different) items than I have been for any previous events.

Such as $125,000 -- 500rp -- Carnival Hammer (14/10). Hopefully more to come.

And yes, the painting rewards are definitely tiered. My roommate has all different items, and his grand prize is lower stats than mine (though same name).

The Art Crate event has been a good one for me overlapping with the 100 PvP contest. I'm up to 7 crates with 3 days to go, so with any luck I'll complete the cycle.

This is a contest for the rest of us. Sure you can buy success (you always can with Gree), but with prizes for 3, 5, 7, 9 and 10 crates, this contest is both doable, high reward for interim progress and under my control (well sort of). By definition, top 250/50 contest means what other people do, can be as important as what I do. I don't like that feeling.

It seems like this art event is using old style type with new style items drop rate. I just got my 11th painting.. Casual opens. If that is the case, by the end of event everyone but extremely unlucky players would get to 10 with no problems. When iOS art event was on the way it was extremely hard to get to 10. Not the case now. If I'm not wrong, its a freebie gun and modifier for Android players.

I did like I said I got nothing but paintings at first, then I was using gold just on the hour and I did not get a painting for like 10-12 tries. So I got antsy and started doing timer resets to see if that helped and for me it did. I've been holding onto my gold pile for like 6-7 weeks due to crappy crates and just wanted to get something nice. I don't regret the gold spent, I've got the money so why not enjoy :) oh yeah and the 65% faster energy refill is a nice bonus. ohh I see.. great that u hv the grand prize already. I'm at my 9th painting now, still struggling with the 10th, shld be ok (still left 3days). May the luck be with us!!~ hope it's going well for all. :D

Thank you. Eventually I will add decorations but I feel like its a waste of space and money. I have all my buildings grouped by time. My 1 hours are next to each other, the three hours are next to each other, ect.

By the way, I AM THE LUCKIEST EVENT PLAYER EVER! I received the 10th item using the cash option and even better, I only had 5 successful opens that were not paintings! When I got to 9 I had two successful opens that were not paintings before getting 10.

@DenZ1: I agree that I feel like they didn't change the drop rate from the 20 item events. I thought that exact same thing when I got to 9. Usually you would be stuck at 8 even with with 2-3 days left getting bomb suits and stuff.

Ha! Funny thing is Im doing the opposite! Im building my mob to attack higher mobs. I added around 100 mafia members this past month and am still trying to add more. Plus, this is an old iOS event so that means they're actually working on porting over their old events to our platform. More than I thought was going on behind the scenes, that's for sure. It actually makes me feel confident that we'll have boss events in a couple months time.

I assume to "make up for" the iOS users getting events that we were unable to, they'll recycle most / all their events to us as soon as they can. Once they do that, then they'll probably start syncing the events together again.

So here's how I play this game. When I have time I go to a random person's hood and rob them if they have something worth robbing. 98% this does not happen because their hood is weak as hell or their big money buildings aren't ready to be robbed. I will check their profile to see if they have a lot of unbanked money. Again, most of the time they are carrying nothing or something not worth attacking them for. When I do this I don't care about their level or mafia size.

Then this event comes around. I already have a 10% reduction time on my upgrades and love the thought of reducing it more. So I figure I might as well go for some thug life goals while I do this. My goal at the time was to attack mafias of 400. This then went up to 420, 440, ect. Was I supposed to stop when it got to 500? Is there any logical reason for me to stop doing thug life goals when I have to attack people to win this event?

I understand the concept of a rat but it was pretty ****ty of you to put absolutely no input into this thread except to call someone a rat. If you have no valuable input then go somewhere else. After I got my 10th using cash I switched to the free option. I have gotten a few items but not another useless painting yet. If these were still the current items like the z racer instead of the enhanced bike I would spend the cash on that option. The current items are much stronger than these older ones.

I couldn't tell you for sure. I know rockets and RPG crates are still in people's inventories, but I don't know if that's caused by the same problem that affects the prize from that event (Blackout RPG), or if there was just an issue with the event itself.

There isn't a set #. It gets harder to get them as you approach the target #. This is by design.

Thank you for the message. Here is a quick breakdown on how our events work: It is possible to collect event boxes from jobs in the game, or by robbing them from other players. There are three options to choose from to open the boxes: the free option which gives a low chance of opening, the cash option which gives a medium chance of opening, and a gold option which guarantees opening. An attempt to open the event box can be made once per hour, although the chance to open can be reset immediately for 15 gold.

Once a box is opened, one of several things will be awarded: money, respect, an extra grunt/mafia member, an item, or the event special item. Regardless of how the box is opened, the reward is randomly chosen; opening a box does not guarantee that the event special item will be awarded. Each special event item gained will reduce the chance of getting the next, although this chance never becomes zero or below zero.

it is easy.. veeeerrrrryyy easy. just keep doing jobs (energy) and beat lots of players (stamina). if u have gud energy (around 2000) and gud stamina (around 80), u can collect tht many crates easily.
my energy/stamina is 1830/55 and i managed to collect more than 200 crates .. not a big deal.

I remember a couple events ago I left it running for 2 hours after the time was up and was still collecting prizes. The server didn't seem to care as long as my phone would think I could get another (even though the time said 0:00:00) (edit:it now says "SOON!")

edit: I got to open 2 extra crates in the two hours before I got a phone call and cc lagged so bad I gave up seeing how long I could keep the event working. Both opens were cash and got a blnt.

unfortunatly my phone is a chinese dual-sim knock-off so it restarts itself a few times a day thanks to it's "great" quality

i wish A brands would make decent dual-sim phones :S

That's freaking weird. I have 14 paintings at this time...
I had 12 when the event ended. Got 10/10 within 36 hours and causally opened up more crates with the free option looking for extra items.
