Leaderboard Event Winner Update

[Crime City Mark]

In light of the ambiguity regarding the wording of the leaderboard events in MW, we're going back and giving out the top prizes to additional winners. While we'd like to be able to give them to the lead for each country, that simply isn't something we're able to track, as that was never the intent of the events. The best we're able to do at this point is award the prize to the top 6 for each event, and make sure the wording is more clear in the future.

I will be updating this thread with winner lists as I receive them. Please be aware that this is an ongoing process and will take a bit. This retroactive winner update will apply to the current event, and the last 2 leaderboard events that were run.

Can you Post the Ideas that Gree found interesting enough to award? I would like to know what could possibly be turned into an event for the future?

Also i would reccomend adding the Player IDs so Players can Verify if they won they actually recieved their prize.

We awarded randomly as long as the submission was coherent. All the ideas were interesting, in one way or another. In the future we'll experiment with ways of posting winner lists.

Boxes can be optained from completing missions or attacking rivals that have unopened boxes. If you are on android, an event is going on right now i believe. First of all I have to say that after what happened with the anniversary event in Crime City this is a step in the right direction, by keeping your customers updated with news about leader boards in events & what position players finished in & who won which prize well done I say. But I have to mention this concerning the new events in Cc, MW & KA where you have to finish in the top 50 to get the top prize which also gives you a boost like 2o% fewer casualties, this is my opinion that to get that top prize you need to use a lot of gold to even get in the top 50 I've seen players in the top 50 with 400 items plus, I buy gold myself but not the amounts that some players can afford to buy as you'll see from my signature I'm disabled & have to live of a budget I wish I could work to be able to buy more gold but its physically impossible, I enjoy playing all three games because it keeps me occupied but people like me & the free players will never finish in the top 50 to win the grand prize it's impossible I have finished in the top 250 once but that item only boosts your stats & does not give you any other boosts like the 20% fewer casualties, in the old events you had a good chance to get the top prize because you only needed 10 items, what would be good if the prize you can get for finishing in the top 250 had a boost like in the top 50, I.e The top 50 get the prize with 20% fewer casualties & the prize in the top 250 got the prize with a boost of 10% fewer casualties if this idea could be passed onto the team & discussed I would be happy & I imagine other players would too. After what I have written here I will still play all the three games because they are entertaining & fun to play but I had to write my opinion & how I feel about the new events, thank you for reading :-).

There will be an imbalance in power between major gold Vs free players and light gold players. This effect can be seen in 3 folds:

1) It is highly unlikely that free players and light gold players will reach the top 50/250 thus eliminating the chance of getting a higher stat unit and/or

2) It is highly unlikely that free players and light gold players will reach the top 50 thus eliminating the chance of getting a higher stat unit with special abilities (or bonus capabilities)

3) With the lack of higher stat units - new free players and light gold players will have difficulty beating the boss unless they camp and mass on higher cash units; stack up with gold units

The over-all implications in the long run can result with more high leveled players with low A/D; more campers at lower levels; less players wanting to reach higher levels; mid to high level with bad eco or stats (most proably players who don't go to forums and read the threads). Snow ball effect will be seen at higher levels when most players will become less of challenge for senior players / gold players and a lower turn around of players leveling up. Either you get tired of attacking weaker opponents or finding no competition.

Ty for these insights. So not levelling up is the first response of all free and light gold spending players. Further, they will feel frustrated not being able to reach the top 50/250 and thus instantly experiencing an ever increasing gap between themselves and the top. This is truly different in any other game where you can belong to the top, or at least have a fair chance of getting there, by intensive play. This being said i wonder if we miss anything in this reasoning. Surely, gree knows this reasoning so what are we missing? The only alternative answer i can think of is that once the inbalance is too big gree just closes the game ans starts a new one. this would be a very negative approach to this inbalance-issue. I do think however that this may be one of the more serious issues together with the hacking issue.
