Sister snake not appearing for me

The new boss event is not appearing for me. I've closed and re-opened the app many times now and still no splash screen. Any advice for something like this? Hasn't happened to me before....

Nope, was waiting for the splash screen. Would attacking someone trigger that?

I don't have a splash screen about it and since the troubles we got from the last time i won't start before i get the goal.
