Ethical questions around cheating and cheaters

1) Is it acceptable to rob someone you suspect of being a cheater? If you find a guy with level 10 nightclubs at level 20, and you see 500 of every respect item, meanwhile he hasn't fought much or robbed much... are you effectively cheating or endorsing cheating by robbing his nightclubs?

2) If the player appears to get banned but still shows up in your history, is it wrong to go and attack him 5-10 times for the maximum cash every two hours?

I don't think so if your strong enough to beat them then do it. I mean everyone is innocent until proven guilty no matter how bad it looks. And GREE don't tell you if they have so you can only presume that they havnt so it's fair game I say.

As with any questions on ethics or moral you won't get an unanimous answer. Thats something youhave to decide for your self, according to your own principles.

I came across a guy with obviously ill gotten level 10 NCs and did not rob him. If I had, whatever I had built or bought with that cash would leave me a repercussion. But that was my very personal descision.

He if you are strong enough , beat the crap out of the cheater , see you are doing the legit player a small favor ;)
You are not attacking them , and you get good income from the cheaters why not .
Infact provoke him to cheat more so he gets banned ;) .

Agree with Dravak here. If you're legit and strong enough to smack a cheater upside the head there's a moral imperative to do so. It gives enormous pleasure too. Just the same as I guess a free player gets when they pound the butt off a gold buyer.

All players have a duty, imo, to report cheaters when they come across them. I can see rivals attacking/robbing them provided they have reported them first. I believe if you don't you a just a part of the problem and so called living off the avails of cheaters.

Personally, I have a zero tolerance policy for cheaters. Report them on sight and don't benefit from their ill gotten gains.

I agree with 709 about personal repercussions not anything Gree would do.

Pfttt you mean like I was manipulating the ladder event last time , seems more people are having fun increasing the ladder event cost ;) . come on we can't do market manipulations anymore without a whole foundation coming down on us .

So I can act like vigilante , why not atleast I don't feel guilty stealing and robbing from a cheater.
I mean his morals are so high :p , editting stats and free cash creation .. then attacking people who are legit .

Am doing the community a big service herding them towards the HL.
Free cash for the goldspenders , so cheaters become the cash cows.

Don't make him/her mad; no players, even the strongest non-cheat players, can fight the one with 500 fire monster + 500 Axe of Resping + 500 Powered Exosuit + 500 Punisher Platform...

It would be cool if CC supporter act quick, but if that does not happen. When he torture you in a few weeks & your email seems never be responded... it's f**k*d up.

I take no stance on this because i've never been able to rob a cheater. They either just have a boatload of items and with equivalent mafia have 10x the stats O.o'

Why my account was being monitored :p , so might as well use it to kick some cheaters , it was fun !
Hell was best money spent lol , all those drama and cheaters calling me cheats ..
But also ran into nice cheaters bleh :( , almost felt guilty lol , he was more helpfull then most people on the forums.
Including sharing and editing for a bunch of ungratefull people , sadly had to report him ,
He deserve beter then working for a bunch where is my next hack file this month :p .

Gotta agree with Dravak and Mnju here. Report em, rob em, and move on. It's a game, have fun with it. No need to maintain such a moral high ground about it. We're not talking about drug money or blood diamonds here when you rob a cheater. Sheesh.

I usually beat them if I am able, always nice to blow some of their 500+ defense explosives and leave a nice post. The energy hacks I go after, have found several with over 500 items from ma Sheng that they received in a matter of days...those players get mighty ticked when you point out why you are going after them
