1) did you check for any updates for KA in Appstore
or
2) Try doing a couple PVE ( i don't thinkj it even matters if it is a boss or not - I triggered boss even on non-boss units in PVE) then do a couple of PVP. Close game then open again see if it shows. I only suggested this because it happens to my iphone. When I try to initiate the boss it doesnt show on the mission folder but after I close and reopen it appears. Sometime I have already lost some time as it does not appear right away.

Just took out boss 23 without gems. 20 commons, 2 rares and 1 uncommon. Worst haul this time, EVER. But at least the uncommon has decent defense stats, so should have it for a long while, and of course the rare ones are good. :) Not bad for the gold I spent to get them. Just wish I would have better return. Oh well, can't win them all when based on luck and percentages.

I do plan to get a few gems so I can lay waste to boss 24 - 30 and get that last unit. I'll disclose the gems spent and unit info for my level.

I think you are right so I took the plunge and bought 50 gems. Boss 29 went down in 14 hits and had roughly 229000 health.

Does anybody know what happens if you cross the threshold of a new bracket part way through an event? Do you immediately go into the new bracket or is it set at the level you were when the event started?

I almost always use total number of hits * damage for a gold hit. It is an over estimation, but I would rather someone see my estimate and say, man my boss was way less health, that say, albeezy you're a liar, my boss had more health! Not that any of you forum patrons would ever say that, but...

Also, although I know that a free hit will kill him on the last hit, I usually opt for a gold hit just to be overly safe! If I actually do a free hit I might include the free hit damage in my calculations

Just tackled boss 30. Got an uncommon for the effort (better than a common!).

Tribal Cyclops stats (for me, no new stats, and I'm level 69): 945/757. Close to 30 hits, at about 55k per hit.

Im currently on level 102 with A/D of 50K/48K. Trying to defeat boss #12. First 5 hits all gold total to 244,360. My attack is slightly lower, 48872/ attack. I took out about 1/3 of the boss health. If thats the case in my level, boss health at #12 is around 733k. Isn't that a little high (boss health) or my attack is just a little too low? Anyways, trying to kill it with 13 hits.

Update...Took all 13 hits to kill #12. Total boss health 635,336.

Well, finally closed the event for myself last night with Boss 20 (no way I can reach Boss 30 without gems or upgrading attacking units like mad).
Quite a good showing (after the awful start of 10 straight commons) of 5 rares, 1 uncommon and 14 commons + the Lvl 20 Bear unit. Unfortunately, was not able to win the top rare (Orge Enforcer) but that's life.

You are at max allies for your level which is good for this event, but you need to increase your attack, so build better offensive units.

Yeah you need more attack than that man. Im level 43 with 215 allies with 20400 attack and I feel Im still weak. I beat boss 20 by a hair.

Goodluck man, and your boss is tougher than my boss because you are over level 50. Yeah you need to bulk up those flaming catapults or hydra if you unlocked it. I only have 109 flaming catapults and i need more.

It is possible to get that high, but you need to make sure all your units have good weapons and armors and load up on the strongest attack units you can. Funky - do you know the step on the brackets? I was about 25K attack at Level 50 at the start of this one and got 25 bosses down without gems. Now 28K attack Level 52. I don't know how I can get to 38K attack anytime soon (I am at ~36 average attack per unit, full allies) - so additional flaming cats is taking the numbers up very slow. They are still replacing lower units, the reason a 34A unit is helping is b/c the average is pulled up by the rares/superrares. And adding high level weapons is really expensive so the econ can't keep up. Seems like I will need to camp out for a while.

I don't know where the cut offs are. I asked for help by users posting the boss strength and level but most want to post what they win. I would think there might be a new bracket at 51. Can you confirm? Is the boss much harder now?

As strategy, you might think about finding a comfortable place to camp in order to go after BD10. Dragons sure have a high attack and are cheaper than buying heavy battleaxe.

Yeah for boss event attack is the only essential thing. Defense doesnt play a part in boss event

I actually think I started at 49 not 50 for this event. And I did not pick up any noticeable changes. Of course bosses 26-30 got progressively harder but everything was in-line with expectations. I actually leveled up a bit on purpose during so I could bring more to the fight...it didn't really help either way from what I could tell. I'm BDL1 so I am a loooong way from any dragons...just built it ;-)

Assuming KA bosses follow the same level tiers as MW ...

Tier 1: Levels 1- 25
Tier 2: 26 - 50
Tier 3: 51-75
Tier 4: 76 - 100
Tier 5: 101 - 150
Tier 6: 150 - 200

In CC though, a level 190 has the same loot as my level 111 character for the current boss. So Tiers 5 and 6 might just be 101+ ...

given that you can only have 500 allies at most 100+ and dragons are the best cash unit, and available at 50, there isn' really much point in having additional levels past 100. Admittedly, a 200 has more gear than a 101, but that doesn't really justify a step change, especially if they have the new unit stats.

Was able to get through 17 bosses at lvl 71 w/ a profile attack score of 30k ... tempting to spend gems but meh, I'm happy with my results. Good thing a box event is coming up next, easier to focus on my journey to BD 10 w/o being tempted to blow money on attack units :p

Hey np, 50 gems should definitely be enough to kill 2 bosses, if you buy the 110 pack though you can always save the leftovers for the next boss event.

Yeah, I just finished him off tonight. Pretty good event all in all. Finished with 18 commons (which are useless), but also picked up 6 rares including 2 ogre enforcers and 6 uncommons. No complaints here.

Bummer about the only 1 rare though! yah tell me about only one rare bs also what sucked more is on my splash screen it showed the event ending at 12pm yesterday in the afternoon so i stayed up tell 7am in the morning to beat him cause i wasn't going to be home all day. if i would of knew they were going to extended it i would of got some sleep and i would of bought the gems when they went on sell im out 2 whole dollars lol but its all good i love the stats from the cyclops 1417 attack an 1136 defense i was level 32 or 33 not sure
