That screen never appeared for me, though I got the other screens telling me of the event, the leader board and what could be won collecting 5, 10 biohazard etc.

Nahh I found that popup screen in the game files.

@JohnDough : I see the top 50 prize as 10% more valor from attacks, so the #1 prize must be more valor from attacks as well.

Sad state of affairs that I could give a rip about an event in MW. I might causally open crates, etc. These events are no longer fun when getting to 10 is all that can be expected.

When the popup (quoted above) says "The player who earns their country the most Biological Weapons by the end of the HazMat Bin Event will receive: Biohazard Defense Commander" DOES THAT MEANS 1 or 6 WINNERS (i.e., one for each country)?

I agree, but I don't mind this event. I don't play it. But the gold spenders need an event too. Many of the top level players complain bitterly about the Boss events because of how hard they are for them. The Boss events are for the free to low gold spenders. I have spent time developing my attack and have increased the number of Bosses I can beat without gold from 17 on the first event to mid 20s on the last.

I have played all the Boss events and picked up a number of gold units I otherwise wouldn't get and some decent ones to boot.

They have designed to events for two different crowds.

Too late, they have released the splash screen which CLEARLY states "their country" and as there are six possible "their countries" then there must be six top awards.

Anything to the contrary of this is an act of literary deception, false advertising or plain fraud.

Remove the words "their country" and then they can state it is a single top prize.

Ferr and Q have it right, It's a play on words that will be misinterpreted by almost ALL players and is misleading, fraudulent and worded to make players anticipate a reward for the top player for each country. I believe that Gree does this intentionally to make everyone spend more than they might normally. The top prize isnt even that good, I know that my Assassin isn't working like it should!

This would be a good time for Gree to learn to use ingame notification techniques...We have only asked for clear event instructions since the IPH event where all three games had different messages, some stating collect the most money, others saying most money collected from money buildings, and more recently the CC 1 year anniversay event. Hopefully, our community managers will highlight these misleading event dialogues to the developers that make the splash screens to avoid such confusion in the future. From what CCMark said earlier, it appears that will be the case for future events. Time will tell.

The drop rate is very low for this event so far for me, 3 hits at the caribbean, no box. I think I will content to just get 5 hazmats to win the first item this time. If Gree keeps this up, it is time to kiss the event goodbye.

It's actually not even open for interpretation, it's simply what it states.

The player who earns their country the (most biological weapons) by the end of the (hazmat bin event) will receive : (biohazard defense commander).

Or

The runner who earns their country the (fastest time) by the end of the (competition) will receive : (a slot at the Olympics).

Am I missing something?

Is anyone still spending big money on this event after the past couple? Just out of curiousity. I still can't believe how much money people spend on this. I grew up on console gaming where a person spends 60-70 for a brand new game. And maayyybe 15 for additional content. The graphics, the interaction ,mobile game platforms still in my opinion can't come close to console games. The only heads up Mobile has over console is well,it being mobile. And seemingly cheap..or so you would think. My suggestion is if it's the economy and watching things grow you like,They have sim games on ps3 Xbox. You'll save a whole lot of money, if you want to shot people in the face, call of duty and similar games,lol.

It never ends, Gree just doesn't get it. They didn't mistakenly word it that way, they want more people to go after the boxes. There has been discussions on this forum from some of us customers (that's what some of us are, we are purchasing a product), of changing countries just to increase the chance of being in the #1 position for that country.

A bit off topic from where this thread is going, but as far as the event itself Gree has included Android for this Hazmat leaderboard event. Also interesting is that the screen splash says it's a 7 day event, yet my timer show 4 days and change, and the iOS player screen shots i have seen show the same as well.

Ok. So im a little confused. I constantly log into modern war and keep an eye on my energy draining it as soon as its full. So far i've found 2 crates. I see other people have a whole s%&t ton. Is there something i'm missing, or are they just lucky as hell?
