Does anyone else's wall cut off part of the sentences people write? I got a new iPad today so idk if that has anything to do with it, but its only showing parts of the comments.

Yes. Best way to read the full comment is to to select all, copy, and paste into the area where you would type.

You can also hold your finger on the screen and scroll along sometimes it a bit hard to get started but you get use to it.

It has happened to me also and if you double tap the message and select all you can then scroll the message to the right with your finger, works for me.
