You have answered this question yourself. If it is not producing and you are unsatisfied with them, sell them and use the money towards further upgrading of your 12/24/48's

Up to you really, they aren't necessary to maintain a high income. I sold mine because I can't collect them 100% and I hate getting robbed.

I like my 3 hour buildings they produce 20K and it just extra money and if i notice they hardly ever get robbed most people prefer rob the better buildings like loft.

I like mine (wedding chapels and ub house). They are all level 3 and i get 100k every 3 hrs. Taking them all to level 5 would give me 225k every 3 hrs and level 6 is 300k every 3 hrs...so even 5-6 collects a day yields 1.5-2 mill...pretty solid for quick grabs and if those are your only vulnerable bldgs to get robbed and you have a good iph (im sure you would have other good bldgs if your 3 hrs were level 5-6...) then losing a few lms shouldnt be much of an issue

I also like mine, though at my level I only have Italian Restaurants and Ice Cream Shops. Still, both profitable when upgraded; I don't plan to rid myself of them for quite a while. ;) Underboss' Houses are next.

I like mine(Italians, Underboss', Wedding Chapel, Art House Cinemas, and Ice Cream Shops) and I plan on taking them to level 10 at some point in the game. Ice Cream Shops are already there.

Sold mine, much less stressful. Hated getting robbed as well.

Yup same here!! I also use land mines and it sucks to have a chapel get robbed buy some petty idiot and lose 150k land mine

When you sell gold buildings, do you get gold back or cash?

Cash, it works out to half of what you would pay if it was an in game cash building. For example the PT is worth 14 million according to the spreadsheets so you get 7 million if you sell it.

Ok thanks, I figured you wouldn't get gold back, just wanted to make sure. Gotta love those spreadsheets. ;)

They don't bring me a whole lot of income, but I figure the more buildings I have up, the last chance my higher income ones will be hit.

Keep them for opening the crates and Boss Events....

I love 3 hr buildings, I have 2 of all of them except 1 souvenir shop because it couldn't fit in my layout. I like keeping them and my 1hr buildings because I have something to collect whenever I check my phone. But as always just do whatever fits your play style.

in the beginning levels, they are crucial to bringing in income and are quite the game changer so one may save up for his first MT. i will always keep mine, even the stupid little pizza parlors. the time invested, its a part of my hood now(:
