Oh thx I hadn't been letting that happen. What happens if you don't buy one? Does boss get away?

He'll only get away if the 2 hour timer is up. So if your timer is down to 15 mins and you're waiting for your health to regenerate, he'll get away before you can get another hit in (takes 25 mins to regenerate 1 hit - 1 min/health point)
