View Full Version : Some A/D questions

I've seen some impressive stats from gem players but was wondering how it impacts PVP.

For example, let's say Player 1 has a 1000/1000 A/D unit. Does the stat go up by 1000/1000 less the stat of the unit being replaced? So if it replaces a 50/50 unit, the A/D goes up 950/950?

When attacking in PVP, does the one unit affect only the one unit it is attacking? Which means it can contribute to only one unit win, assuming that win/loss is based on the total number of wins of a 1:1 fight of the Attacker's attacking units against Defender's defending units. In that case, it seems if Player B has ten 100/100 units, it may generate 10 unit wins against general players since most players do not have many 100/100 units (okay, neither may help if you're up against wildstallion).

Also, when using allies, if you have less allies, are they automatic losses? For example, if Attacker has 200 units (total allies, weapons and armor) and Defender has 99 units, will Defender always lose, regardless of the strength of the individual units because Defender has 101 automatic losses and even if every one of his actual 99 units win, he still has greater losses?

TIA

No it doesn't work like that, it's not a 1:1 battle it's your total attack vs their total defence but you also have to take into account skill points which are used as a multiplier during battles plus there is also a random multiplier which then affect the results even more.

We got this info from CCM when some of the MW folk had a So Cal meet up but he wouldn't divulge any further info about these multipliers.

So for everyone getting into the hundreds with hero power and neglecting your A/D skill points you could end up getting beaten be someone with lower stats and now you will know why.

In regards to the 1000/1000 unit replacing the 50/50 unit, yes your stats would go up by 950/950 (not including boosts)

Yes. That's correct. You can tell from every new unit you buy that is higher end, such as basilisks. Though they are 30+ attack, my score only went up 25, then eventually only 15 because of there replacing lower ones.

No clue. But I'm assuming "no".

The number of allies affects your stats. So if you have less allies but more attack than the defender has defense, you will win.

If I had 100 allies but attack of 15000, and my rival had 150 allies but a defense of 13000, I'd win. How it affects losses I have no clue.

Ok, thanks, Bronson and Legend, for the answers. I was afraid of attacking those with more allies but if it's the total A/D (modified as noted above) then I have less fear. I do tend to lose more units, though, when I attack someone with more allies, but that is just personal observation and also is a separate issue.
