Are you asking how many times you can attack one player before the game allows you to attack them again?

Everyone agrees it is 20x attacks one after the other. The timeframe has been debated in the past and I don't care to stir up trouble. I haven't seen anytime suggested longer than 4 hours. Some believe it is shorter and others think if the person logs back into their account it is reset. You should be safe to assume 20x in 4 hours.

I am having an issue where if I go into my profile, and look at my comments section, it is blank. When I go to the More and News, I can see people posting things on my walls, and people that have attacked me in the past... any suggestions for how to fix this?

This isn't a boss event, it's PvE entirely, so you don't "activate" it. You find the monsters it tells you to kill, then you go kill them. When you get to the maps, they'll have those green arrows pointing to their heads, just like all the usual quests. Good luck to you, though, as there are only a couple hours left on the event.

In KA on the IOS is there something I have to do or place I have to leave my character in order to gain energy faster? I have noticed that on certain occasions I will get normal regen rates then log in 30 mins later and be full QQ or am I just not seeing things right...
Oh and this ? Is not because I am new to KA, this discrepancy in regen rates seems odd

There should have been something on your quest list about it. First thing to do is make sure you have the latest version of KA installed. Then sometimes you have to exit and reopen a few times to get the events to pop up. And if none of that works, contact support. :)

That was the answer. I reloaded the game and it came up with six minutes to go. Got six of the first forty before the time ran out. Thanks a lot for your time and patience.

It's a bug. Sometimes one of your allies will appear on your rivals list. But if you try to attack or raid you will get the "rival is too weak to attack" or "already sacked" message, respectively. I've tried it (after asking my ally nicely if it would be okay to do the experiment :))

Don't go full allies, salesman. I'm hovering between 497-498 and everytime I get a request I scroll through current allies and delete the weakest player. Try it and see what happens. I see all the way down to players with 250 allies. Maybe your victim will show back up? ;)

Hey all - I have been building up turtling and am ready to go after my first boss event now. Does anyone know if you are better off (better meaning you trigger the boss fights fast with as little exp gain as possible) doing pvp or quests? What types of attacks would you recommend to continue to level as slowly as possible? Thanks!

Unrelated: A lot of people use free hits to start, but I use gold hits right away. It doesn't cost that much, and it means I can kill more bosses on that first full energy bar - which is good for the ego.

I am with you on the thinking, it is cheap, why not... on the flip side I always get to round 10-15 and top out like 2 days after the event starts so I don't really save a lot of 'event time' just makes the time i spend more enjoyable.

Depends on what strategy u use.
No point beyond lvl 50, but below lvl 50 the high priest/lich combo is widely used to build up your stats. As is the high priest/wyvern combo. Barracks to lvl 10 is useful in LTQE that require opponents to attack a barracks. If your barracks is at lvl ten, they will lose their top unit (dragons) wether or not they win or lose the battle. Stats don't even matter from what I've experienced, u attack a lvl 10 barracks, you will lose ur best destructible.

Thanks for that , I was under the impression that once you had better units you stop buying the lower stats units as there is no more use for them.. Ie..wyverns/ hydra get replaced by dragons. So forth and so on.. Same as infantry..foot soldier gets replaced by Vikings ?. Would this be correct ? So why keep buying lower stat units ?

Scope out your peers in the Battle List. Do some recon. Up your allies to max. At level 74 you can have 370. It'll be your best stat booster.

I did mine with stats in the lower 80's atk/def. Level ~120. Again, up your allies and go over vault to the tune of about 500k and see how you fare over night.


Also curious to see how my Hero Strength of 102 compares to others.

Quit the game, open the multi task bar, and close out the game. Do a hard reset on the device and then try again.

If I were you try and get the defence as high as possible in armour and units then try and save the rest for your decent upgrade

Well, you can only get hit for 198,000 gold every 4 hours, so the absolute worst case scenario is that you're out about 1.6 million over that 32-hour period, with a net profit of over 900,000. However, I think it's unlikely that you'd be max-hit more than a couple times, if even that much. Just hang on to it as best you can until your upgrade is finished.

My question is... do you have an upgrade that's going to cost you 2.5 million or anywhere in that vicinity?

Hey Durwood, like everyone else I've dreamt of getting the $2.5m scratcher... Congrats!

When I've thought about that fantastic dilemna, I have to say that for me splurging on a mountain or two of gems to instantly complete building upgrades was the first thing that crossed my mind. A bit OTT unless you dont mind splashing the cash, but you could get some serious upgrades done in a flash - eg. Manors to 3 or 4 at least.
Without knowing where you are in the game, you probably already know that once you have a decent income, it's time that becomes the restraining factor on getting where you want to go. Unless you buy gems to complete upgrades and compress those waits...? Or buy gems to win units that let you upgrade two buildings at once!

You could simply buy the strongest units you have access to, to give yourself big numbers of those and the corresponding stats.

But when I thought more about it, it would have to go on a big number of serious weapons and armour. Yeah they cost a bomb to add maybe 20 each to A and D, but you keepnthem when you upgrade units and since they cant be 'killed' they're basically indestructible. Depends on your situation but that might add bulk stats for you to set yourself up for a BD run?

And keep enough gold for those upgrades now you've upped your stats and are sitting a bit safer.

Just a couple of suggestions... Have fun deciding, but don't hang around!

Well - I got hit more than 198000 every four hours. The Gem players with over 150k O and D nailed me and got more of the 2.5 than I got to use. Funny how Gree opens up the 198000/hr and funny how the big gem players got more of this than I did. I was stupid and bought gems to complete a building early to at least be able to use SOME of the gold that I got to win and hold for the gem players.

This taught me two things - one, Gree caters to the gem players and the rest of us exist for their use and abuse. I will NEVER again purchase gems. And, two, they have a poor business model, catering to the gem players, because when they use the rest of us as fodder for those players, it prevents any new or rising player from seeing the worth in buying gems.

All I got out of it was an upgrade of my breeding den from LVL 7 to 8 - which I have about an hour to go on.

I was thinking about complaining about how I got nailed for FAR MORE than the 198000/hr - but they will just give me stupid excuses....so I will probably just carry on.

I'm glad I got to hold those coins for the big guys for a while, I guess.

Hmmm.... I'm pissed off that I bought $20 worth of gems - and I will NEVER AGAIN buy gems, EVER. Read my previous post. Most of the gold was robbed. There is no doubt that I was the patsy that they assigned to win the gold, buy some gems for upgrades and then let the gem players rob me blind - as a gift to them.

I'm not sure I'd get too bent out of shape, though - 99% of the rest of us have never gotten even half of the 2.5 million, so you're still way ahead of the rest of the people that play this game. The best I've ever done in a scratch off is one unit slightly better than a dragon.

It depends on the number of players in the levels. If majority of players are at 190-200, then your field of view gets more limited. Right now level 200 can see depending on allies I think between level 130 and above.

This taught me two things - one, Gree caters to the gem players and the rest of us exist for their use and abuse. I will NEVER again purchase gems. And, two, they have a poor business model, catering to the gem players, because when they use the rest of us as fodder for those players, it prevents any new or rising player from seeing the worth in buying gems.

All I got out of it was an upgrade of my breeding den from LVL 7 to 8 - which I have about an hour to go on.

I was thinking about complaining about how I got nailed for FAR MORE than the 198000/hr - but they will just give me stupid excuses....so I will probably just carry on.

I'm glad I got to hold those coins for the big guys for a while, I guess.

I'm way over quota at the moment- have something like 350- so its not an urgent recruitment play, but the more the merrier for the time being and it's good to have 'allies up the sleeves' ready to enable full status at each level-up.

Given that most of you seem to be L100+, are probably full and doubtless have much bigger fish to stay allied with, I don't expect that many to take up the offer with a lowly L50's whipper-snapper like me...
BUT most of you do say you'll accept forum members over "the unwashed masses" or something similar so i can only ask! Ha ha ha

It's the latter reason. As the levels get higher, there are fewer people within the range, so the range widens. As more people level up, the whale zone will move up accordingly. Right now there are only twenty level 200 players and I al allies with one of them. Haha

Agreed. The idea that somehow GREE had an evil plan to give you money to reward the players who then attack you is a bit paranoid IMO. As is the idea that they tricked you into buying gems to protect your prize. You got the gold for free, just enjoy what you got from it and live with the rest. I wish I had your problems.

Are you purchasing it after a battle ?if so if you lost units in a battle it does take a minute or so so drop your stats and you might be looking at it before the killed unbit was deducted ? if not ...dont know..??

You can refresh all your stats by going to your battle list and hitting refresh. This will connect you to Gree servers and your stats should be correct then.

I have a question... currently upgrading a leatherworker and have 32 hours left.
Finally, I won something worthwhile on the daily scratcher. 2.5 million gold pieces.
But, I cannot 'use' it until that stupid building upgrades and I can't protect it - so is this really more of a win for the gem buyers who are going to pick me off and deplete that money before I can use it?

Yeah, we wish Ratma, but the answer is no. I'm doing the exact same thing to make room for recent requests.
You can't even sort your ally list, just have to go through them one by one. IIRC, CJ54 once said that the coding required to do this would be too complex, so they don't bother providing it. :(

It's not merely about the number of units you have, but the combined strength of the units you bring into battle. I may not have as many magic units as I do infantry, but the magic units I do have are heavy-duty, stat-wise, so it makes more sense for me to boost my temple before my blacksmith. Make sure you aggregate your (above-dragon) unit totals to maximize your boost. :)

Is this some way of saying not to focus on that kinda stuff once you get to a certain point in the game?? I've been sitting on this Divine Finger and Insanity Robe combo for over a month, leveling hideously with nothing beyond Lifebinders and Lava Dipped Staffs as far as the eye can see...

you need to start looking around more, the more you look the more you will find, there are a lot of different units to slay with different drops , but you have to find your Niche' items, it best to allow some time to go through the maps and hit units a couple of times, so good luck

The recent LTQE have been giving out some pretty nice units and armour/weapons. You had to go to about level 29 out of 40 to get the Eye of Fafnir and I think 32 to pick up the Brisingamen.

If you've been camping, or wanted to resist the resultant levelling, then you would have missed out...

I was only going to be doing PVP as low xp count and can still make good gold, NO PVE too costly , but did buy some chests this Arvo got some good units ...added over 5K A/D , semi turtle sounds good , neck not real long for FULL turtle..how many allies do I lose to drop 10K A/D ??

I'm not entirely sure why you're trying to lower your A/D stats.

If you're trying to avoid being seen by high level players, you need to keep from leveling up. If you're trying to avoid being seen by the top players at your level, yes, dropping allies may help, but since players with nearly 500 ally counts can usually see down to a little below half their allies with regularity (and sometimes a bit further than that), you have to really cripple yourself to avoid being hit completely, and then at that point, there are strong players in the the lower tiers that will suddenly be as (or more) powerful than you.

I'm not entirely sure why you're trying to lower your A/D stats.

If you're trying to avoid being seen by high level players, you need to keep from leveling up. If you're trying to avoid being seen by the top players at your level, yes, dropping allies may help, but since players with nearly 500 ally counts can usually see down to a little below half their allies with regularity (and sometimes a bit further than that), you have to really cripple yourself to avoid being hit completely, and then at that point, there are strong players in the the lower tiers that will suddenly be as (or more) powerful than you.

I would like to think so ! No unfortunately as my Stats are in the top 2% at this level I can now see 5+ levels both ways so upper players on say 170+ should be able to see me ..although I am top 2% this level 170+ I am not good given that most SHOULD be at around 350-400+ as I don't have the resources now to gain BIG stats , I need to slow WAY down to keep of the radar! But with my stats at this level if I drop say 400 allies that would give me the space to improve what I have and yield more goodies for them ! But at the same time my stats would keep me going at that ally count ...above average ?? And still reap the rewards done there ? Am interested to know what the best plan is...don't want to be a STATISTIC !

If you are talking about viewing your guild mates, I think that is a bug. It doesn't show up for any of my guild members.

My questions are all about stones.

Are they randomly generated while attacking an opponent (like yetis, skirmishers etc...), or do you actually take stones from them like you would boxes during a box event?

Is it at all possible to lose stones that are in your possession in a way other than donating them to your guild, be it through random attacks or otherwise?

If they are randomly generated, do you have a higher chance of getting one if you successfully attack someone near your own stats/ally count? My attack is just under 140k with about 440 allies. I attacked three different people with around 40-50k defense and an ally count of around 190-220. After 20 attacks on each, the first gave me two stones, the second gave me one stone, and the third gave me four stones. I also attacked someone with 25 allies and 10k defense 20 times and got no stones. Is anyone experiencing better results with more formidable opponents?

Do stones serve any other purpose besides to be donated to your guild? Are they capable of being obtained while not in a guild?

I think that's all I'm curious about for now. Thanks in advance to anyone that helps to clear it up.

Ash, PvP is the way to earn stones. But, raiding doesn't count. You need to attack the player. Over vault players give you better chances in my opinion and experience. You don't go to your profile to edit it you have to scroll up and find the drop down tab labeled Forum Actions which is in between community and quick links. On that drop down menu you'll see the option to edit profile and it is in there where you can edit your signature, profile pic, avatar, and much more

No because gold donated to the club doesn't go to anyone but the club and it never comes back out. It either goes to bonus upgrades and new member slots or just sits there. If you were to abandon the club and close it the gold left in there would just disappear.

No, this is a problem weak players need to address by upping their stats. I would love to see NO vault to make this game more interesting!
On a side note... if this current LTQ is any indication... getting a BD10 will become unnecessary with all the high stat units Gree is handing out.

No, I can't think of any reason the vast majority of users need to create a new thread. Anyone have a definitive answer on what is happening at the 500 ally limit?

It looks to me that if you are at 500 you can accept someone, but they don't show up in your allies list. I have dropped allies to get below 500 in order to bring in new ones, and that seems to work most of the time... unless perhaps they were already at 500 themselves.

Also, every so often I have gone above 500 allies, as high as 526 at one point. I still only could make use of 500 and could only list 500, was wondering if anyone else ran into this and what they thought was going on.

I started KA recently as byproduct of tapjoy and after trying a bit I actually like it more than my old crime city. Although they are not that different, I have a few questions:

1. Energy, most precious imo, but I cant figure out when it refills to max although those 3 energy/min could never have filled it up. Is there a some random refill???
2. Most people post not to level up fast.....why? I power level during events to get the refill and to improve my hero's power....-wrong???
3. From CC i learned not to add to many allies unless i can equip them with good items - same here?
4. at lvl 87 I have 112 hero strength and 20 stamina (and 7 mistakes ;) is that ok? I assume the guilds thing changes a bit into favor for pvp/stamina?
5. at my level I have now a hero weapon with 58/66 and armor 34/89. Now i would assume my minimum attack is 58+34=92 and a random 1-112 from hero strength which should average ~150 damage. is that correct? if so....its lower! /me angry
6. whats a good allie/attack power ratio to add new allies? I have only 10 allies now and kinda like it with 27k Attack/defense. finding lots of people to farm, however of course i miss out on those boss fight events which need max army power.
7. joining a good guild requires max army power rather than ratio?
8. better hero equipment - i guess only from events?

Although energy does refresh at a rate of 3 per minute... i have noticed that I occasionally have a large amount added back to my bar for some unknown reason. I'm not sure on the pattern here but i think it is level dependant as to how much you get or how often as my friend who is a high level gets more than me.

It is recommended not to level up too quickly. This is called 'camping' this is where you increase your unit buildings, money buildings and purchase many expansions, units and equipment to get ahead of players at your current level.

Camping can be done for any length of time... the longer.. the more powerful you become, but this means that you miss out on limited time quests and their epic rewards which are indestructable. Some players (including myself) are semi-campers. I dont do the normal chain of quests or do anything to level up other than limited time quests. this way i can maximise my stats through units, equipment and epic units.

your MAXIMUM possible hit is your best weapon + armor + hero strength. but this is completely random and your lucky if you hit it. my maximum is probably 150ish, i normally only see 120's though with the occasional 140

Add as many allies as you can for your level, players can attack downwards. if someone has 300 allies and you have 200, then can still attack you so you may aswell add the extra 100 to take advantage of the increased stats to give you a bit more of a fighting chance

yes hero equipment comes from events and yes, attack and defence stats will count towards guilds.

For whatever reason, every once in awhile, you end up with some extra energy. Consider it a bonus from the "things just sometimes work out your way" gods.

If you level up quickly, your army won't be as strong as everybody else's is at whatever level you end up at. You will be picked on and bullied frequently and will have difficulty saving money for anything larger than your vault can hold. Levelling normally means you're on par with everyone else and levelling slowly means you will have the means and capacity to fend off most rivals and build a great and glorious kingdom and army. But there are shortcuts ($ $), too, if you're impatient.


3. From CC i learned not to add to many allies unless i can equip them with good items - same here?


Sort of... there IS pretty cheap equipment out there, so it can be advantageous to fill out your army to max allies and give them some broken bottles to fight with until you can afford better units and equipment. YMMV.

Events can be either PvP, PvE, random box, or a combination of the above. Stamina is great for PvP, hero strength for PvE. I'm sure you've been playing enough to decide if you want more attack stamina or more PvE damage.

There's been no generally accepted formula for how damage is calculated, except that raising your equipment and hero strength do add to it. Different monsters have different ranges of damage to them as well, so suffice to say that more is always better, but the exact formula is a big foggy.

Add allies as you can afford units and weapons for them. Some people try to get by with minimum allies, but you have no chance at any boss event whatsoever this way. Also, people with 5x to 10x as many allies as you will always be able to see you, and probably kick your butt, so are you really getting ahead with such a low ally count? Most players *but not all, admittedly) will agree that max allies = best way to move forward, provided you can provide good units for them.

Joining a good guild usually means being frequently active, having good overall stats (attack, defense, and some even income per hour), and a willingness to donate some scratch to the guild coffers. However, there are some camper guilds out there that don't plan to war that would probably not care about your A/D stats.

I'm fairly sure that if you showed up to a guild war with 10 allies, you might as well be wearing a neon sign that said, "Fresh Meat". :)

Yes, probably the only way to get better equipment than what you have is through an event. You don't always have to spend money to get better gear, but you do have to work at it and maybe get a little lucky sometimes.

Im fairly new to this game (2 weeks) and I see a lot of experienced players, so maybe someone can advise. Im on ipad 4th gen and since yesterday locked out of the game due to invalid data errors. Deleting and reinstalling didnt solve anything and support hasnt responded yet. I was wondering if putting back a recent itunes backup of my device causes harm to my player stats. Im at level 66, in H-mode of current quest and have gems in my account. So one can imagine I dont want to jeopardise that. On the other hand I would really want to continue questing as its lucrative business. Any advice? Will i kill things irreparable by using backup?

Since Im locked out of the game and cant play anyway, maybe I may post another question that intrigues me. Why is everybody bothering to achieve the high income per hour? Why spend time, gold and kingdom space on buildings that hardly earn a lot and only attract others to raid or attack me? If I just stick to troop and bonus buildings I need far less expanding, far less time and gold on upgrading and Im an unattractive target. Im way up lvl 66 now with attack and defense just above 50k and I make a fortune by stealing gold from others. Am I being shortsighted here?

In a word, yes.

If you keep levelling, you will learn, as countless others have, that you will be pitted against players who have either been playing for far longer than you have, or who have more money than sense, or both. And when that day comes when you look around and cannot find anyone to attack, your income will go down the tube very quickly from pvp, and since you've been ignoring your own IPH, you'll have no money to fight back or increase your stats. The upper level 100s are quite literally full of abandoned bases from people just like you will be in several months. You were warned.


Note: none of this is meant to sound elitist. I am playing a second account for a reason.

All game data is stored on Gree servers. It's loaded every time you start the game, or change screens. Nothing is stored on your phone. Set it on fire; your game will be fine.

Your actual problem is that by the time in 46478492864 years that Gree Support gets around to answering your ticket, the LTQ will be over. Tough luck, keep trying. All you can do.

Im glad I liked the lender buildings and stored two in my kingdom for that reason.
Nevertheless Im not looking forward ending up in a situation where a war game means no more possible attacks or raids. But I get your point. Thank you.

Luckily the gree people arranged to solve the login problem. Although they have serious issues on communication level, Im glad the game is accessible again.

It doesn't mean you can never attack again. It just means you have to hold off for a little while until you can build your strength back. At endgame, when you have the units and the money to support them, you can go back to berserker rampage mode again. :)

After reading your post again, I thought I'd give you another piece of encouragement. You aren't that far from where you need to be. The rule of thumb I follow is that you should have at least 1000 stats per level and at least 100 IPH per level. That will put you at 200k stats and 20k IPH at level 200. You'll still get crushed by gem players, but at least you'll be mostly competitive with free players.

Are Defense Buildings useful at higher levels?

Obviously, a bunch of cannon towers with a 22-44 defense bonus are pretty meaningless when people have 100k, 180k, 250k attack and defense. Even 100 of them would be a small bonus comparatively. So is there a point to buying them other than aesthetics and a placebo effect? Do they in fact increase casualties or something else concrete?

Hi everyone
Please help me out with this stupid problem.
Some of my maps for eg. Shipwreck cove are completely empty. When I say empty it's empty and I can't even see my character on the map. My character is just a small little black dot that moves around when I try to move it. I don't really initially as I was camping and doesn't do much pve. But now the quest payout are really good and I can't ignore anymore. I've sent a few emails to support but they have ignored me for like a week.
Has anyone has this problem? Please advise me how to sort this out.

Have you tried deleting and reinstalling the game several times? That usually fixes any bugs. If that doesn't work, you may just have to wait on support, and that's notoriously slow.

Just delete and reinstall from the app store, no passwords or other "stuff"

My first post to the forum so please excuse any faux pas I may make.

I'm having difficulty with getting the target monsters to show up in two separate quests now, Saving the Delta and Tranquil Terror. Neither of these is marked as Rare, yet I have to kill off 3 or 4 non-targets just to get one to show up. It was bad enough dealing with one...Saving the Delta has been dragging on for a month because of it, but now to have two doing it is just too frustrating. Especially since the Tranquil Terror beasts are in the 80-100 range and take several hits to kill. And I need to get SIX toad minions! Grrrrrrrr!

Is this a glitch or expected gameplay?

They have an effect to increase the attacker's casualties.
They raise the stakes for the attacker, the closer are their attack stats and your defence.
Make them work out whether its worth potentially losing say, a dragon, to raid your level 5 lender surrounded by cannon towers? (No)

But the wider the stat differential, the less this matters...

Depends on units purchased, the stronger the unit the more attack points you get, I usually get like 250.

Basically they will increase by the combined value of your 3 next best units, that you weren't already taking to battle.

I purchased roughly around 50 death knights in a 5 day stretch with no increase on attack or defense. I have 275 allies.

In theirselves, they are not really worth of it, but you will have plenty PvP with the venets preceding the Final Battles (PvP event + collection of stones)... Go for it then!

Sell your manors. Or open your wallet. Only two guaranteed methods. All others involve risk. Check the threads for more.

I was upgrading my Cottage, and when I checked how long it would take, it showed 18h and some seconds. After I pressed the Upgrade -button, it showed 19h and some seconds. Now several hours later it still is counting down towards the 19h upgrade time.

This is the first time I am sure about this time difference, previously I've just thought that I had looked wrong on the time before I pressed upgrade when the upgrades weren't ready at the time I expected. Our guild has +14% upgrade time reduction, could this have some thing to do with it?

Good point! I had just been looking at the reduction times for a MC upgrade which was displayed correctly as 34h49m (22% guild) so I hit the upgrade and roughly 20 minutes later the countdown timer says 35h16m.

It was DST, as now when the game is up again, the finalization time is what I expected, i.e. it takes 18h and not 19h to do the upgrade. Good that it was only a DST change issue.

My quick question is what good do WTH do for you? I have mine at level 3, and was considering upgrading to lvl4 but that is a lot of gold that I could use elsewhere. Are they useful and worth the gold or are they a waste?

Is people refresing the rival list until they find the name or is there an easy way to find a specific rival?

You can't search people in the battle list, only way to gang up on people is to have ppl around the same level refresh to find someone

You can have more than 500 hundred allies but will only bring 500 allies max into battle. I'm pretty sure it shouldn't show more than 500 though even if you have more so that sounds a little weird to me
