Anniversary event

So considering we have all been pretty much kept in the dark the whole time this event has been going on has anyone else been trying for any of the top 25 prizes? I don't think I will get in to the top 25 because I haven't used any gold for stamina refills but since the announcement appeared on here I've been robbing more than I usually do. I just hit my 3,000 rob since the announcement was made. So I'm just wondering if other people have been trying?

Well I've been putting off syncing a couple collections which can be annoying for the banker challenge. I'm also doing the quests one on a presumption. I wouldn't even be bothering if i didn't have the devil's takedown though.

I haven't been attacking or robbing extra I don't have the time to keep up with the diehards never mind the gold.

I am not going to invest a single gold bar into a event that
a) never showed up on my ipad
b) had very unclear objectives
c) giving the circumstances (1 year anniversary) was horrible marketed and rolled out

However I experienced an increased number of attacks on my hood during the past week. Seems people are at least trying. Have fun with that. Without any leaderboard Gree can hand out the prices as they seem fit.

Decided tonight that I would make a run for the attack catagory... Pretty sure I won't get the top 25 since I can't seem to pass up the buildings that are begging to get robbed... :(

I logged 4635 robberies, spent 150 gold on refills plus I robbed like a mad man throughout the event. I hope it was not all in vain.

I attempted the robbery challenge...did maybe 4000+, no gold just alot of robs throughout the day/night of the event. ALOT of pissed off rivals on my list/level too. Does anybody know or think the top 25 winners will be a bracketed winners list(i.e. levels 1-50, levels 51-100, etc)?

Going by their current track record they will probably never hand out prize and then when too many complain they will just give them out to who ever sends in a ticket on a particular day.
