Buy crates 3x , then left over buy icecream shop or tabacoshop . those 2 are best payoff on low level , and affordable upgrade and payoff time .

If midlevel just buy crates , and hardrock cafe , Pirate taverns are not loved cause they are not in sync with the lofts.
Way too expensive to upgrade .

I still haven't decided, so I guess I will sit on it for now. I'm at level 49, so I'm not sure what the PT's are or if I have unlocked them yet.

I can see how it can become addicting. However, I used only a partial amount of an iTunes gift card, so I still haven't crossed over to the true dark side. More like the gray side.

If you haven't already done goodfella yet, I would definitely agree that it would be your best option to go with first.

Personally I have 450 saved, I'll be spending 300 on 2x Gentleman's Clubs, then hopefully earning more for 2x Pirate Taverns (PTs, probably in reverse order since that's the order they're unlocked).

I already got 2x Ice Cream Shops and 2x Smoke Shops to pad the income a bit while building stats / economy. Very cheap, not bad to upgrade, and decent IPH (income per hour, which matters to some people, more specifically people that play a lot).

Is it still worth it to upgrade to goodfella? Is there any way to reach goodfella without gold?
