Lost in your own hood

Special anniversary event is obviously for a few big spenders, so I'm just going to ignore it.

Do you ever get bored with the arrangement of your hood? I don't mean the decorations or whatever specific buildings you have, I'm referring to the actual placement of all the objects in your hood.

If no then you probably won't care about anything said in this thread.

If yes, then what do you do about it? Shuffle some stuff around until your hood looks different enough for the time being? Do you spend any amount of time trying to carefully plan what is going to be placed in which location? Maybe a combination of the two, spend time moving things around until you're satisfied?

Do you ever rearrange your hood late at night or after you've been drinking and the next morning forget that you did that? You wake up and go to check CC (that you've left open all night) but you don't recognize your own hood, so you blindly tap at the area on the screen that should say "to my hood", only to be taken to whatever map you last visited. It makes for a pretty weird "wtf moment" the first time you experience this.

Do I carefully plan? Not carefully, but I am intentional in certain placements. For example, I put the four 1-hour buildings pretty close to each other and in a place where I can see them as soon as the app opens. This way, I can collect them right away. Also, I don't put my gents clubs, or clubs of any sort for that matter, near my churches. It just doesn't seem right, lol.

i try and keep the different buildings with same collection times together in the same areaI'm meticulous about this, too. 3hrs close by, then 6s around them. 8s next closest, 12s outside them, and 24/48 outside those.

It's all about efficient collection. Tried to sync my MW to have a similar pattern to be able to scroll the same way each opens.

I try to make it as nice as I can and group things accordingly - for instance not put the strip club next to the church!

But when I'm low on space then it doesn't always look as I want - doing an expansion now and then will re- arrange
I also try to keep the defense buildings in their own section...
Sometimes I color co-ordinate too.......sorry if that's too girly......lol

I rearrange when I get new buildings. I hate when you build a new one and it throws everything off. I also don't like when you have two of the same building and they're all lumped together. My movie theatres are like that and I hate it. I try to separate the buildings so no two are right next to each other.

I have all the cash buildings I want, so all that's left to build are defense buildings. The game has been pretty boring lately for an ex-light gold level 200, so one of the few things really left to do is to rearrange my buildings and plan for the future placement of defense buildings. I did start doing that late one night and forgot about it, so when I woke up I was confused for a moment (that's where the idea for this thread came from).

After rearranging my buildings, I've actually started wondering if I should just sell my 8s (PTs, CAs) and Internet Companies. I am already considering selling the Warehouses and History Museums since they are pretty much a waste of space, but if I sell all these buildings I'll lose $50k/hr, so I am somewhat reluctant to part with them. The 8s do cost me a fair bit in explosives though since they get robbed all the time (this morning two people were robbing them within 2 minutes of them being ready!).

I carefully plan cuz im oc and my whole hood is symmetrical in lay out...already know where all my buildings are gonna go/fit over next few months...that, along with my decked out mansion in the middle, makes my hood easily one of the nicest in the game

Buildings to me are just money-making boxes. I just squeeze them all together and I don't care if they look good or not.

I keep them separated though, the 12's have their own spot, the 24's have their own spot, and the 48 as well.

Yeh that's why I was surprised for new blood to attack or rob me successfully. I was used to the regular few that attack/Rob me and it's only 1 CK member and Lupo that know my times that I don't collect. So the extra letters in the back threw me off lol but yeah I dont even care I dont remember the last time I robbed or attacked someone I'm just working in my IpH
