What Happen To Epic Boss Event????

There was 15hrs left for the Champion of the East boss event and now its been turn off why?? Iam on level 33 and was gonna finish it in a couple of hours and already spend around 5000-6000 gems and now im screw cause event was turn off early??? What a joke

It's over for me but it seems to be still available for other players.
The last boss event, a similar thing happened in that there was 15 hours left but the event had ended.
I checked around and people had different timings left for the event.

Ended for me too. Just bought a bunch of flaming cats but fortunately could not trigger the event. Still, I would have preferred not to have bought the flaming cats if the event was ending. What is it with the game recently? So many mess ups with events ... This being potentially the most serious so far :(

This is really a joke i bought $280 worth of itunes credits this morning to continue my level 33 boss and finish the event which states 15hrs left on my game and no not 15mins but 15hrs. So basicly im screwed wasted 5000-6000 gems and didnt get to finish it. So much error confusion with these event and noone owning up to the mistakes. I will make a report to Apple for this unfortunate misleading event

Just FYI: same thing happened to me here (in France).
no harm however, because I was not aiming at finishing it (stayed in the mid-teens levels)
