Sad to hear Tony Scott died today in tragic circumstances.

A lot of people won't remember who he is, but I'm sure all of you at some time will remember seeing one of his movies he either directed or produced. Not a fan of some of his blockbusters but he was the man behind a few great cinema hits.
The Hunger, Top Gun, True Romance, Enemy of the State, Crimson Tide...etc
Suicide, what a way to go and what a waste of talent.

The guy had untreatable brain cancer. He obviously didn't want to go through that kind of suffering.

In my opinion, Ridley Scott is better.

Never seen Blade Runner but it's on my list of movies to watch. I like Alien.

It was suicide a note was found at his home. Sorry to see his life end that way but he will always live on as one of the greatest by the movies he leaves behind. My condolences to his family.

He decided to kill himself, as his cancer was eating him up... we should all have the freedom to make that decision.

In my opinion, Ridley Scott is better.

He is only better if he is with Jesus. If he's not then he's far more worse, infinitely worse.

The news reports I read didn't mention him having brain cancer for some reason
