250th position on leaderboard is always am ally including some I know quit the game.

This is fishy to say the least. I believe we have some corporate issues going on here. Yesterday I saw Mackdaddy and posted on one of the threads because I thought he wasn't playing. He was surprised. Then someone replied that they saw my name. I am not participating in this event. I sent out a challenge to look at my units to see if I won the 5 or 10 unit.

This is so fraudulent..false advertising..and makes me a target! I have since posted on my wall to "save your bullets because I'm not participating in this event si I don't have any crates, sorry!"

when on the first day you have 0 parts and the leaderboars stated you need 10, then 15 hours later, you still have 0 part BUT the leaderboard states you only. eed 9 to be in top 250

In the previous KA event my LLP was indicated as being in the top bracket for a time. However my HLP was showing a different player in that position.

Then for a time my HLP also made it into the list and showed up as being in that position.

In this event my LLP does not have an ally at position 250 however there are one or two in higher positions. However if players who do not have the required number of items are appearing then that is in the realms of fraud as I see it.

Currently my LLP is sitting on 8 and my HLP on 6 with free opens. If either player appears on someone's list in the top 250 then it is an obvious fallacy.

It could that just the same name, name doesn't have to be unique. I come across so many players named sir, alex, david with different nationality.

I see Ed on three different accounts, who do not share similar alliances. I suspect their is a tie at the last spot, and that is why it has stayed relatively steady. I bet you see a lot of movement from 26-150ish, if we could actually see it.

I didn't bother to do pve to get the box, most of the boxes I got were I must say I didn't really want them anyway, I only want valors. Even I accidentally got one, I opened with free hand only. It is not even worth the 100K for me to do the cash open.

The bar is set too high, 5 cores for every indestructible unit. It was 3, 5, 7, 9,10 before. From my CC experience, I could only get 7 to 8 items at the end of 6 days. So why bother!

yeah but I can't even get them to drop. I started at level 25 and am now up to level 27 with only 3. I've put most of my skill points into stamina so i can keep pvp but its crazy how the boxes are only dropping at 3%.

Yup, I was doing free opens of the boxes I got and received something like 3 or 4 items. So I decided to do some cash opens to see if I'd be able to get the #10 airplane... that was easy so figured I'd see if I'd be able to get the next unit with some cash opens. Not using gold, just some game cash, I guess I spent less than 2m for box opens so far. Well worth the 2 indestructible units!!!
Ending up at the leader board is a bit of a surprise to me since I've not done one reset or gold open... and I won't!

I would comment on the thread name - for me it is definitely not allies. For example I am not allied with Vballmadam and all the rest who I can see there. So I think this is not a rule.

But appearance of macdaddy and vballmadam is more than strange. I don't want to speculate though, because nobody knows if for some reason there are more than one player with this name in the game - and we cannot check. I am just saying that if this is done artificially - it would be very very very bad thing to learn...

I posted the title after almost 1 day of having complex names that matched my allies names. there were times just like noted earlier where i saw the same name for hours. Now i am seeing the name change often. I too saw vballmadam or what i thought was her. It could be the 250th position is so dynamic its causing issues with names and sometimes pull the wrong one.

Look, at this stage we know how bugged the game is, they are bringing out new content but not fixing the old stuff, I think we agree that these auction events are purely a money making scheme. Amazing really, that they wouldn't want to keep their customers.

Are we really surprised that this could happen? Me? nope, certainly not. I had hoped the game was improving with the cheating bug fixes, these do not go anywhere near fixing the real problems. It said if it is a tie it will go on level so if someone has 12 in 250 spot and some gets 12 with a higher or lower level depending on what they are going on , they will push them out of top 250 on level . this event simply isn't worth playing for a free player unless someone has got lucky and got in top 250 . I tried some cash opens but I will get less parts than old box game with this change so not worth playing for the bottom unit , only good thing is I have no reason to do missions anymore so will just put my tent up and go to sleep .

I think I have an idea of what is going on with the "you only need to get X pieces to get to the top 250" thing.

And I also think it will be (or already is) a major misleading bait and switch.

Think about it:

Let's say we have the top 25 guys, and below them we have lets say 150 players who have 12 boxes. Below those lets say we have 400 players with 11 boxes. What does that mean?

It means, we have 25 + 150 who are in the top 250 no contest.

We also have 225 players tied for the remaining 75 places in the top 250 slots.

I do not think Funzio will award all of these 225 players the top 250 award. There could be thousands for all we know.

However, the advertisement says you can make it to the top 250 with X boxes. What I think it actually says is that you can become part of those 225 players who are tied for those remaining 75 slots.

And I think this would be a misleading advertisement.

Either they would have to award the prize to more than 250 players or be subject to false advertisement claims.

What I suspect is they screwed with the medium open rate, instead of roughly 50% it's now more like 25%. The odds on the item itself seem decent (though decreasing) when you get an open. Out of roughly 14 opens I have 2 loots, 1 valor, 1 cash, 1 ally, and 9 items. Definitely better percentage than other events, though you'd expect that having to go to 25.

And just as I write this, I got my 10th. That was my target. All free opens only from here on. Had been mixing them in and actually got 3 items free.

Did anyone ever figure out if the top 1 or top 6 get the ultimate award? Or if there even is one? I have never seen the popup in-game, only posted here.

CCM did announce it was for the top players of each country so that implies 6 of them, which means the top 6 on the leaderboard as they can change their flag at will just to get it.

Drop rate increased in the last two days. I got 8, 9 & 10 with the free option on my last 10 attempts. The rest were sorries, no loot. The Auction event cannot be compared to the Ten Item Events for item drops. 10th item barely makes my top 1500 and there is no invisible boost prize with it.

I expected the top 250 mark to "pace themselves" so to speak. It's like the 1500m race in the olympics. The first 1000 meters is just jockeying for positioning and staying with the pack. No one's burning much energy. That last lap is an all out sprint. We're on the last lap. I think you'll see the top 250 go up quite a bit today.
