Does anyone know why I have such a drastic difference in attack from the free hit versus the gold hit?

Last event it was not nearly as wide of a gap. This event it's almost 2x.

Last event I had about 32k - 34k attack. Free hit I hit about 24k. Gold was about 32k - 34k (respectively).

Now, my attack is 43k. But my free hits are about 23k, whereas the gold hit is about 43k.

I do not have updated stats. The only difference between the two events is 220 basilisks and a couple of other indestructibles.

Im on 5 rares right now got one of each kind and doubles. I have notice that at 10,15 and level 20 they should give you a rare. I didnt remember about level 5 but thats what it has been happing to me best to all.

Do these boss' go by number of hits or health points? The reason I ask is because I attacked five times to deliver 27,905/hit. Then his health bar couldn't even be seen so I delivered a free attack which took 18708. That is what my free hits are and I know he didn't have enough health that I should have delivered the whole amount of possible damage. I'm just asking cause I was keeping track of the health points of the boss but am now thinking it may not be accurate. Any clues?

Yeah he didn't show up until I beat this one guy for the tenth time. Now though, he just shows up after every single PVP regardless lol.

Is the boss giving more XP this time around? I have gained nearly 700 XP since the first boss kill and I am only doing one PVE fore each boss (on 15). The PVE missions are giving 3-6 XP so for the first 15 bosses I received a max of 90 XP from the completed missions meaning I have gained about 600 XP from the first 15 bosses. Does this seem right?
EDIT: Just got 80 XP from boss 15, seems about right I guess

Starting to struggle beating the Lv.8 Warlord at 32k attack though.

Yeah it can be pretty rough when they don't give at least ONE rare. Although depending what stage you are at in the game, sometimes these units provide little boost to your stats anyway.
But yeah, still sucks.

WORD! Since last event I have added 24 astral bows 19/11 (+456 Attack) 2 Diviner Robes 11/15 (+ 22 Attack) 14 Seige Towers 23/5 (+18 attack when fully allied for + 252 attack) and 47 Trebuchets 27/12 (+ 22 attack each when fully allied for +1034 attack).

Since the last boss event I have added 1764 to my raw attack score while increasing my IPH from 5600/hr to 6960/hour.

On boss 17 right now which is where I stopped during the last boss event. level 38 17789/14226 with 190 allies.

Boss #8. 7 commons, 1 uncommon. I slightly outperformed my previous 2 events (6 commons, 1 uncommon) by 1 this time. Will try for #9 in 2-4 days time. At least they are repeating the rares, gives me the slim hope that I can get the Gale Dragon sometime in the far far future.

Well, this ones done for me. Killed boss 22. Did use 10 gems for one refill, and got an uncommon out of it. :)
So 3 rare, 6 uncommon and 13 common. Good thing is almost every common was a defense of 25; so that helps for now.

My plan is to do 4 a day and that will let me finish with some time to spare. I've used 200 gems to this point, Chups. Good luck! Let me know if you find any tweaks of improvement.

I've used the 4x gem attack before and it's actually less damage than 4 gold hits. It's 4x your unboosted attack. Well I guess if you dont have a lot of boost bldg upgrades it might be more beneficial, but I get the most bang for my buck outta gold hits.

LoL yeah I set a timer but I almost messed up this last boss by getting caught up in the forum. Still had 9 mins to spare thankfully.

Question for those with the new and improved stats. Does your hit on the boss basically equal your attack score? I have the old stats still and my damage on the boss is just under my actual attack score. This might mean its an unboosted attack value (minus building boosts) as GIO suggests.

I'm lvl 130 with around 93k attack and just finished boss 10 with 14 hits, used one health refill. I'm done. Got 1 rare and 2-3 uncommons I think. Yes the rare is nice, but having what I consider good stats and getting stopped at 10/40 makes this event really lame, IMHO.

Does anyone know why I have such a drastic difference in attack from the free hit versus the gold hit?

Last event it was not nearly as wide of a gap. This event it's almost 2x.

Last event I had about 32k - 34k attack. Free hit I hit about 24k. Gold was about 32k - 34k (respectively).

Now, my attack is 43k. But my free hits are about 23k, whereas the gold hit is about 43k.

I do not have updated stats. The only difference between the two events is 220 basilisks and a couple of other indestructibles.


CASH HIT = RAW attack stat (No boosts) plus 10 x Attack Skill
Same in CC
Same in MW

Make sure you're buying high attack value armor as well to boost your basic raw attack as well as units.

Tip of the day.

I thought I knew how the free vs the gold attack options were calculated. Now, I'm not so sure. Has anyone been able to confirm how the two are calculated?

i have a stupid question, how do you start this event (and all the rest).

I have been playing this game for some time, have a lvl 97 warrior, finished all the quest (except the tournament, currently at 126) have a GPH of 9780, but none of the events are starting for me (only the 20% reduction of gold and gems).

What am i doing wrong?

Have you installed any updates available from the app store? Failing that, I guess you could delete and redownload.

Outside of that, I have no ideas. Provided you kill any monster or hit any person, the event just starts.

Were you able to get the event started? You still have plenty of time. A lot of players only go one or two days and we almost have 4 days left. Like Talkazar said, delete the app and redownload. Once you bring it up, leave it on for 10 minutes. Totally get out of the app by closing it down in your toolbar. When you bring it back up, you should see the start screen. I like to do a raid to get the boss to show up.

killed the guy 5 times now got 1 rare and 2 uc, very happy panda i am.

Weird results for me on this event.
Early on got 2 rares.
Then nothing but commons, and amongst them, more brawlers than I can swing a stick at.
Even at level 47, the commons are pretty useless, coming into play only if you up your allies to much higher levels and have no better units to use.

Wow.. 9 bosses down, 9 commons. Getting too expensive. I've killed 9 bosses in each event so far. Between all the boss events I've received 1 rare, 1 uncommon and a bunch of commons. The commons don't do me a bit of good. I've spent way too much for 2 usable units.

Nicely done! How many rounds did you finish before having to use gems? Just trying to figure out if it'd be worth the cost for me to take the gem route. The gem attack is 2x your Army Attack, right?

Hi to all...
Just registered, it`s interesting to compare the results....
I`m at lvl 71 now, stopped to camping for a while (after reading this forum, heh...)
Attck / Def are: 27100 / 27200
Don`t want to spend any gems in the game (trying to be the free player, even though spend some $ to build gold mines...)
Stopped at boss 17, seems like impossible to go futher. Still want to try in a day or two, after upgrading my stats a little bit.. It really helps, last event I was stopped at lvl.13 boss.
This event was licky, the first boss gave me the Wind Serpent :)
So far I`ve got:
6 Rare (1 Swordsman, 3 Fighter Spirits, 2 Wind Serpents)
2 uncommons (1 Panther Guard, 1 Soothing Spirit)
8 Commons (Brawlers mostly, only 3 launchers)
as I said - I`m pretty lucky with this event :)

Well, I suppose you`re talking to me :)
First of all, I`ve read that then you`re about lvl.100, the boss`s strength is different, it`s harder to beat them (on the other hand, I think the stats of the units you can get is higher also....)

As for me - I just try to start then my power is full (it makes sense to wait 2 hours since the last one), and try "not to forget in attack in the needed time" (which sometimes I fail... :( )

I just discovered that killing these bosses gives you some cash, can someone explain how that works? I think I got around 5k on the last one, does it increase or is it the same amount for each boss?

Hm, I thought everyone knew that....
I don`t know about how much is for one.. But i`m sure that the sum is getting bigger with every level. I think on the 12 - 16 levels it`s more than 10 000.

It increases. For 100+ its 5000 at level 1 and 12500 at level 7.

The first few boss events I could defeat #19 using the free and middle options before I had to quit. This was the first boss event since I crossed into the lvl 81+ tier. I was only able to defeat boss #10 going the same route. Also.. no rares this time.. just 2 uncommons and 8 commons.

Yep, pretty much any unit you win that is usable is more than you started with so that's a plus!

Hopefully they repeat the Gale Dragon again sometime soon so that I can try to get it again.

What are the stats on the Gale Dragon? I have seen the Eastern Dragon (114/66) and Wind Dragon (140/80) but not the gale. I assume the cut off for the Gale is lvl 100.

I didn't get my dragon until boss 20, but was excited when I did. That is two events in a row where I have received 4 rares and at least one of each rare. Good luck!

Sent you a PM Monkey, but in case others are wondering. I use trebuchets for my attack because they are cheap at 2200 a piece but provide 27 attack. Working on acquiring 550 of them as I have about 30-40 units from events that have higher than 27 attack. After that I will start adding weapons (astral bows only 19 attack) and armor (diviner robes only 11 attack). Additionally, I am always upgrading my IPH with an emphasis on the 1 hour buildings as I can collect them 10-12 times a day. Currently upgrading 1 bazaar to 10 other is at 8. My merchant caravans are at 6 and 7. I will also focus on my lenders as well. With all 1 hour bulidings at 10 I can collect at least 7500 every hour enabling me to build enough cash to upgrade my 2 lenders and, once I build them, my manors.

I am level 39, dropped to 50 allies, but with max allies I have 20500 attack and 15k defense. Boss 20 took 13 gold hits, each hit doing about 18500-18750 in damage.

3 initial attacks. retreat. wait over 1 min.
let's recover 1 health, you get 26+ health, then 2 attacks.
wait 26+ mins. get 26+ health, then 2 attacks.
same here (2 attacks)
same here (2 attacks)
same here (2 attacks)

So the max hit number should be 3 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 13 hit. :-)
Time should be 1 + 26 + 26 + 26 + 26 = 105 mins. < 2 hours.

I would also recommend adding allies until you are at max allies for your level. In your case that would be 405 I believe. That will allow you to do more damage when attacking the boss.

You have low attack stats for a level 81.

And the power of the Boss is dependent on your level. It might be a function or increasing in steps/brackets.
Albeezy is at level 39, you are at 81, a big difference. Maybe at double level you need like, triple strength?
Since more high level players post that they have trouble with Boss nr 7, 8 and further.

And IMHO, the boss strength is based off of the units you have available for your level. A level 10 player who has max highest possible attack units for his level, fully equipped with armor and weapons, could get to boss 25 or 30 without gems.

But for someone who is level 50, you would have to start working on manning up your high level beasts, hydra or dragon, to get that far.

First you need more allies. Go max allies at 300. Then buy as many strong attack units as you can afford

IMHO - those are low. As stated, increase your cash flow by investing in rapid $$ buildings, then build the army. Use the VIP invite button to look for more allies. Visit your allies for 25 gold each.

This event was a good one for me. I made it through 17 bosses. I received 4 rares and 4 uncommons. Last boss event, I went through 14 bosses and only received 3 uncommons and 11 commons.

Level 35 with gold boss Attack 14336 and profile attack 14619 using 175 allies. I plan to reduce my allies this weekend. If I accidently delete you, send me a PM.

-J Not 3 in particular, but the 100+ boss has a serious amount of hit points - if you want to kill 15 without gems you need to be rocking straight dragons.

I killed 8 with 61.8k attack, 6 commons, 1 uncommon, 1 rare(gale dragon:)). My first uncommon and rare from these events.
