Rivals List going haywire....

Yes! Finally I can see up to 200! lol, I know it won't last long enough... I am seeing all levels & total mafia on the rivals list, but only 500 on fight screen, like GWiz said.

I got everything back from yesterday's rollback, I think. Funzio or Gree needs to get a grip. Wth?

This list is soooo awesome, it only show the higher end of the shark pool, so most of us are relatively safe.

Just saw this thread. Also just noticed the weird display bug on the rivals list, but according to the time of the OP my game was still fine when this was posted.

This is one bug that I don't care about. I can hold my own and I don't care if I accidentally blind attack someone and lose. So... Whatever. At least it's only a display issue. Wouldn't that be insane if they suddenly increased the mafia cap to 10k?! Haha.

My rival list seems to be showing people on my level but they seem to have lower amounts of mafia so it's harder to do thug life.
Also my comments page has gone blank. I can't even write on it myself nothing shows up.
I submited a ticket for that.

What level are you? At a certain level you reach the pool where it shows all the high level people, maybe you hit that...?

As for this "pool" you speak of... I learned long ago that if your @$$ can't swim, then it's best to stay the hell out of the pool. I can't swim, nor did I bring my floaties.

Same here, i'm lVl 155 (with 622mafia members) and the lowest rival on my list is lVl 178 (with 1646mafia members).

There's just no point in even trying,
With stat's 5x or even 13x higher

Hi guys. First time on here. Been playing CC since February.

I am in the same situation, currently on lvl 155. My rivals list, as mentioned above, has gone bananas since the v2.5 update. So much for "bug fixes"! More like "bug introductions". :mad:

All I see now are players at lvl 170 and higher, all the way to 200. It's like we've been dumped into a shark tank of terrible proportions, it's killing the game for me.

Then, on top of that, I, and many, many others seem to have the "vanishing wall" mystery plagueing our game. Every time I enter the game my wall is blank, even though my newsreel is telling me people have been leaving msgs. Usually if I post on another players wall and return to my own, it re-appears of it's own accord. However, as soon as I leave the game and re-enter...BANG! Wall is blank again. I'm using a 4S, so I'm pretty sure my device is up to spec etc. Any ideas?

I mean, without the interaction with other players, GREE(d) are sucking the life from the game. :mad:

I applaud Gree for this one. Having serious fun robbing high level player. Sure I get some heavy beatings in return, but this is ways better than camping and idling and reading all the talk about HL fights here on the forum. First I thought my stats are way to low but suprisingly there are quite some low stat player in the HLs. Shift of strategy. Bank that money, raise mafia back to 500 and attack the hell into those guys while it lasts.

Whatever has happened with the rival list has opened up 100s of players I have never seen before at level 200 that are at 200 or greater than 190. Fresh meat is very exciting. Now if I could just start seeing more of the CKum...

Meh... I think it's BS. I get that those with WAY higher numbers at their levels than their rivals are a bit bored at time and want to get an return on the actual $$$ that they have invested in gold to get where they are, but it really sullies the "normal player" as it is a ***** to find those at a 20+ level advancement that are capable of being robbed, let alone attacked.

I guess it all depends on what they are now trying to accomplish with this game.... With the new rivals algorithm I wouldn't even dream of shelling out the $$$ they are trying to generate by investing to "catch up". May be the end of this game for me. Actual positive really as I "should" be doing other things anyway.

I'm actually enjoying the new rivals list I've hit a couple of palm hotels and casinos... Although it has become really hard to do my thug life's... Oh well good things always carry a consequence

I had a Level 4 player try to rob my hood earlier on. With as easy as Gree makes it for people to rob, I could have gotten cleaned out! I got lucky, they only had an attack of about 175.

OK, my rivals list has returned to normal, or at least 90% normal.

I'm seeing only players around my own level again but the mafia number on the rival list is still showing the exact number instead of being capped at 500. I've also noticed that the strength of people's stats seem higher when I look in their profile page.

Looks like they're trying to make it harder to find easy (relatively, of course) targets.

Also, my comment wall is still broken! :mad:
