I spent almost million dollars on Napalm. Picked up 15 of them raised my attack up 270 points.

At least it gave me something to buy with money. I usually do not carry high end explosives, I just pick on weaker players so I do not have to waste that money but I thought this was a good cause.

If you do a gold attack and buy a medkit, that's the same as doing a box open + timer reset. The only difference is that now instead of some garbage item that adds nothing to stats, you get nothing except the satisfaction of being 1 hit closer to defeating the boss. Just like in box events, even when you get a zonk all you're doing is getting (maybe) 1 box closer to the next item.

At least with the boss event, if you're going to spend gold you can easily figure out how much you will need to spend instead of guessing with the box events.

If you buy a med kit and then wait an extra minute, you get 3 hits for the price of 2.

Welcome to the world of Boss events. Top stat and top level players will not complete the event with alot of real world spending. Plenty of thread in MW about this over the last 5 of these. unless you are low level you will not do well at these. As well the drop rates are posted on MW as well, your chance at a rare is <2% and doesn't go up much. HAVe fun CC and welcome to world of crappy Boss events!

i only updated HD version on ipad so i still play on other version without havin to deal with the boss popups

Dudeman, do RP items boost your att at all? If so, would you be willing to spend some to try and boost your att against the epic boss?

If I started spending RP I would still have some left once I started getting 0/0 from the RP items. I only need to buy 4 or 5 of anything before the gain begins to decrease, and it does not seem appealing or smart to spend thousands of RP when the gain is so little.

I am curious though, now that you mention it, to see what RP items still give me. IIRC, the last chain whip I got from TL gave me 1/6, RPG 16/0, Exelero 16(maybe 18)/0, and I have no idea what the FCG gives me, but probably 1/1 or something like that. At 800 RP each it might as well be 0/0, I'm not interested. Lol.

I'm curious enough to now go check what happens when I buy a few RP items. I'll post the result for the hell of it.

edit: I bought one of each top tier RP item. The next thing I need to check is how many of whatever item can I get before the gain becomes not worth the cost. I think I might spend some of my banked RP if I can get a few hundred points from it, but it would be the last time I can do that if/when I do unless there are stronger RP items introduced.

I have been playing over a year. Spent about 30 bucks to get the emerald burner. Haven't spent any gold since. Maxed out on chain whip and NVB. 450 RPGs and 200 Exceleros. I have 52k att, which is decent at lvl 200.
with all that being said, I have to say it's gonna be harder and harder to simply enjoy the game for killing some leisure time and not dragged into the gold frenzy and competitions (come on, I am not playing for competitions, enough competitions already in daily life!)...I guess I am just whining because I know as well as all you do that Gree exists solely for the purpose of making money. Can't blame them, but the fun part of the game is gone, and that really makes me sad.

2 attacks 1 minute later (consuming the remaining 26 health)

Babytway, don't give up on your higher level account, I just bought about 20 sarin gas...boosted some stats about 500 and I beat Boss #6 in 1 click and Boss #7 in 2. Not sure what is going on

This is completely dependent on your attack. If you are doling out 200k each hit, you need 1/4 as many hits as someone doing 50k.

If you were able to take advantage of glitch, with about 50k attack you can finish boss with just 400 gold (if your are also patient enough to time and wait)

Are you using gold? I am on boss 17 and dont think I will get past it even with 13 attacks. I am very close to 40k attack and only level 128 so I am wondering how you got to boss 23.

Used 650 gold & that's all I'm willing to use. My attack is so weak that I would need 10 vaults or more worth to finish the event.

Any way all in all I like the Epic Boss event. Now I know that I'm done and that there is no hope on getting 10/15 like other events I can take it easy and no alarms going off every hour.

I had to use a couple of gold health packs to finish #18, so I'm done now too. I even bought 400 napalms (I have almost 100 TLC's) to get as high as I could within reason. My attack is around 50,600 at level 200 with over 100 skill points in attack. Here's what I ended up with:

1 rare gun
1 rare armor
0 rare car
0 uncommon sam mask armor
3 uncommon defense ops mask armor
3 uncommon guns
3 common melee
3 common guns, and
4 common cars.

18 items total. Not too bad I guess. But still wish there was a remote chance of getting end item without shelling out a ton of real cash. This event style will just widen the stat gaps: the strongest will get stronger and the weakest will get weaker. Not complaining, just an observation.... I am grateful for 18 decent items for almost free.

Any way all in all I like the Epic Boss event. Now I know that I'm done and that there is no hope on getting 10/15 like other events I can take it easy and no alarms going off every hour.



I had two itunes cards laying around that I received as gifts & I used those. I bought gold technically, but the cost of it didn't come off my CC.

This new event is good and bad at the same time. I was able to get 22 nice items that helped boost my stats. It's like getting free crates! The bad thing is that you'd need to spend thousands in real money just like you do to get in the top 25 in the other event to win the grand prize. 22 wasn't close enough to justify buying some gold. If I were stuck on 29 I would.

Currenly on 10th boss. I killed all of them with 1 single hit so far, it is so weird, lol.

Lv 21 with 5150 Attack/ 6300 Defense , spent only 1 vault since playing this game ( for the crates ).

level went from 21-23 , Attack from 5150 > 5811.

I doubt there is a big change in level 25 or something, if that is the case, hopefully I can get the prize before level 25....

I just finished my 20th. Looks like I'm done. If I had received a rare item for that one, I might have been tempted to do one more, but yeah...

Much more fun than the old events - at least I got some good stuff this time and raised my stats by quite a bit over the past couple of days.

I'm up to level 18 and its getting crazy to inflict damage now. Even timing out the hits and using a refill pack here and there it's getting impossible to do it without a ton of gold. I've dropped about 150 gold on them and I'm done. I got 16 commons and one uncommon so my drop rate sucks. I think I will hold on to the rest of my gold and wait for some new crates..

i finished number 19 had to use 2 to medkits but ended up getting another samurai armor so im mad about that. number 20 i wont make it this time maybe next time. but it was a good run i liked this event. seems more likely to get the good prizes without spending gold. i'll let the big spenders keep the top 250 event i'll stick with this.

It would be cool if at the beginning of the event period we'd get a choice for which event type we'd want to do. Get people doing different things: 10 items, top 250/25, epic boss...

I got through the first seven no problem. I'm level 27 and now on kill 8 my attacks are only taking 10-15% of his health. So unless I can get closer to the mob limit and mafia limit on cars I don't think I will get to the 30 kills needed.

I did notice my timer for the event started around the time I loaded the 2.5 patch.

I did spend a lot of money to get my 94 mafia explosives granted a mix of time bombs molotovs and hand grenades don't add a lot but every little bit helps. Also working on the mastery of areas to get more skill points and mafia that way....

Does anyone know the time it takes to recover the boss fight health? That doesn't seem to be connected to either my energy or stamina so no idea how that is figured and how to increase it.

Any advice on how to increase my chances would be greatly appreciated.

There's a topic about boss fight tips and how to time everything so you get extra hits.

Long story short: 1 health point gain every minute, for a total of 100 minutes for full recovery. If you die, wait 27 minutes before attacking again, that way you lose 25 points for your first hit, leaving you with 2 health points. You can hit him again with those 2 points, so its like a free hit.

What I want to confirm is, does level 25 a gap change for boss ? I just have a hunch that it is at lv 25. MY KA account when passed lv 100 was not able to kill even the 5th boss with 10+ hits. That is how I think it is every 25 levels. Any thoughts ?

What should I do when I beat a boss and have no energy left myself? Should I wait the hour and a half or w.e it is to have full health before attacking another boss or should I just go ahead and wait the 26 min and attack him twice and go from there. Any opinions appreciated
