Can't access offers during the current gold sale? (Android)

The banner that shows when the current 20% off sale ends is covering up the "Tap to earn free gold" button. That kinda sucks, as I was right in the middle of doing some offers.

the tapjoy option is disabled during gold sale... would be counter productive for business if its on...
