Sorry if it's been explained before, but what is an epic boss event?

How does it work, for those of us who haven't played the crappy clones of this game?

You do a pvp or pve mission and an 'epic boss' flashes up as a mission

You attack the boss using a free, cash or gold option, each option giving you a different strength attack

You keep attacking until you beat the boss

Once you've beaten that one you repeat the above steps to boss number 2, and so on to boss number 30 or 40.

Once youve beaten the 30 or 40 you get rewarded with a very hi stat weapon (in the region of 500att/500def+)

Each boss you beat also gives you a loot drop, ranging from common to rare (a similar set up to crate items). You also gain some in game $ as well as some xp after beating each boss

The bosses get progressively harder and harder to beat. Lower level players will usually be able to beat more bosses than HL players

When you attack a boss he also attacks you back making you lose health. When you're too low on health you have to wait 25 minutes before being able to attack again. You have 2 hours to beat each boss

You can regain health by using a med pack at the cost of 20gold

APPARENTLY in MW the more skill points you in Attack affects the outcome of the boss event!

So start stacking that attack skill!!!!!

Oh and p.s, yes, attack skill DOES count towards your attack value against the boss. I tried and tested this in KA and MW when I levelled up. Also tells you exactly how much your attack skill points count for if you make a note of your display attack against the attack displayed when you attack the boss ;)

I'm confused...if you're able to defeat them all why aren't the other HLs you mention? Did you work what the difference was stat wise that caused the -ve outcome for them?

Indeed you would... assuming it follows the same concept as MW.

Actually, the epic boss events do really suck. You're lucky to get to boss 10 or 11 without spending RM. It's neat that you can still beat at least a few bosses for free, but you can do that in one day and then you get to stand on the sidelines. And the prizes are awarded "crate-style", which means you could still end up with NOTHING, even if you beat a bunch of bosses. By "nothing" I mean no stats increase, since you could end up getting all common items that aren't any better than items you already have.

So basically, cool for lower level players and another middle finger to HL players. Thanks GREEdzio pole smokers.

Yea the drop rates for items are poor. I've done the epic boss event 4 times. The first 2 I managed to get 1 rare and an uncommon in one of them but on the last 2 I got all commons. I beat the boss 7 times each time.

What are your KA stats? Or MW if you're referring to that.

This is in MW. My MW stats are weak at 2626 attack and 2531 defense at level 46. I don't play KA.

I'm confused...if you're able to defeat them all why aren't the other HLs you mention? Did you work what the difference was stat wise that caused the -ve outcome for them?

The bosses are tiered just like normal events. Level 1-50 players have a very high chance of beating the bosses. They may be easier in part to get new players involved? Your strength is taken directly from your attack score (combined with attack skill points), but if you think how much stronger a level 150 player is than a level 100 (on average of course), and Funzio need to make the bosses challenging even for those level 150 players, then level 100's will really really struggle. Anyone above level 50 will struggle, but you get the idea

You'll be surprised at how little that will actually help you on the bosses, sorry!

already complained but didn't start a new thread in doing so

the new update to get 'epic boss battle' is rubbish, i use to have a reasonable amount of people weaker to attack to do 'tournaments' now everyone is levels higher then me even heaps of level 200 are added to the rivals list, you think its easy to deal with idiots who have 2X casinos allowing them to generate heaps of cash??

plus the 'epic boss battle' although at first seemed fun, but you noticed after awhile you can't even accomplish the 'goals' i.e beat the boss 30 times let alone 50 times using in-game cash only

you just don't regen health quick enough and the event locks you out if you don't have enough HP EVEN if you didn't die

so my question to you is, if its so fair whats your tactic to win if the boss is stronger then you, you can't replenish health quick enough to finish a level as each level has a time limit ENDING the game making you to RESTART the battle and all the money you've blown to attack the boss a) goes down the toilet b) you have to start from scratch again meaning you gain no advantage

My high(ish) level player is on Android so I can only speak to my low level iOS player. I've beaten 24 bosses without gold, beat one with gold, and now trying to beat another one with timing.

I do think it's unfair that high level players can basically beat seven bosses for free and get crappy items while I can beat one 24 times for free and get low level items that help me and a few rares/uncommons.

Yeah... I managed to beat 14 bosses for free. I'd have too spend money on gold to go any further, this is at level 96. I'd say my stats are fairly good for my level and playing for free. So yeah it is unfair that low level players can go further that higher levels with no gold.

But really, if everyone can do it for free there would be no point in Gree running these events. Somebody needs to be paid a salary.

On a side note, I joined the game just after the MA41's got nerfed, so I missed out on them. I think it's kind of good of Gree to allow low level players to get an increase in stats for free with this new boss event. But now I am at a level where this doesnt benefit me either.

I have been playing CC on my Samsung Galaxy s3 for a while and have yet to fight any Epic boss. I got my friends playing CC and they all fight the epic boss. Am I using a different version or doing something wrong? Please help. They are kicking my ass as far as leveling up and increasing their defense faster than me.
