Crowd Control drop rates?

So I recently hit lvl 135, and started trying to farm the Crowd Control explosive from Little Havana as I am obviously not a high enough lvl to go for TLC's. I have used about 8000 energy, and so far not a single one.... I am curious if they have nerfed the drop rates or am I just unlucky?

MXZ posted a spreadsheet on 7/18/12 showing a .40161 per 1k energy drop rate from the "crack safe" job, and a .22284 per 1k energy drop rate from the "introduce yourself" job. I have done "introduce yourself" twice, and the rest of the attempts have been the "crack safe" job as that is a better rate.

Any help or info for me?

As far as I now, the drop rate is lower during events.

I have read that a lot too. I was farming between the events as well, hoping to get a few before the next event started since we have one every week now haha. Oh well... I guess i'll just keep at it until I get to lvl 145.

Careful, those are expected rates. You're not promised anything :)

I generally don't dump a ton of energy at any given time unless I get a drop. There appears to be lucky times and unlucky times. If you don't get a drop wait a minute or two before trying again. Once you get one go nuts and you can usually get a few.

Thanks MXZ, your spreadsheets rock! And yes I know a 20% chance doesn't mean after four fails I'm guaranteed a drop. :cool:

I haven't noticed a change in drop rates during events. Try the Supermarket in LH.
