So being an almost "free player" since they axed the top 250 modifier has made me bored of these events. The word Epic on the new splash page this morning got me all excited thinking there was an epic boss event starting. My excitement disappeared as quickly as it came once i realised all Gree has done is reward the biggest spender even more.

With my drop rate getting lower and lower as each boring events passes i wonder will we ever see another PvP or robbery tournament? I doubt it which leaves me no option but to plod along with this event and hope my drop rate reaches at least 15%.

i think it would be a cool idea if you open a box and you happen to get a card or whatever. that you should be able to have a second go instead of waiting for the timer. and if you open a box and dont get a card you wait for the timmer. think it would make the event more rewarding.

Well i'm up to 7 surprisingly. I think they raised the rate at which you find the stolen identities in order to stoke the flames of the top gold buyers, anybody else thinking this?

I'm far too busy to keep track of my stats but i'll just post the number every now and then when I reach the milestones I suppose. Coming on here every hour was far too time consuming with the pretty colors and the drama of the gangs and yeah i'm just gonna go to work now :)

It was going really well for me over the weekend, then it slowed down today. All cash option, and had 10 yesterday.. Only at 12 now though, but my luck has already been much better for this event than all the previous top 250-style ones, so I expect to actually cross that 14 threshold I've been sitting at. I've gotten over 10 weapons guns or melee) 3 Fire trucks and I have more forgery printersleft then there are hours left in the event.

I just wish there was an option to use destructive means to open the box and losing 2-3 other boxes from being destroyed.

I just hope at this time to get enough stolen identities to get the next multiple of five or two for the 'free' items .

Heh finally got to 10 stolen identities after getting multiple false openings (weapons, no more vehicles, and respect or money) >< and to top it off closing in on 50 forgery printers.

To top it off I lost track of money spent to get nothing or weapon and how many "need a crowbar" message I got when I have several in inventory........

Don't bother. Very limited amounts of gold, such as the small amount of gold available from Tapjoy, won't be enough to get you anything from any events.

Go ahead if you still want to, but just so you know, it's a waste of gold.

i didnt keep track but i would say between 1600-1800 bars all in all. with my stats i roughly get 1k stats increase from a vault on crates, unless i have some major luck. so compared to this the goldcosts were ok for 5 items.
