I feel RETARDED b/c i know to answer the 2nd and 3rd question it is a really simple calculation to type in the calculator but apparently i have been doing hw too long today and my slow mom and stepdad won't be any help. If anyone wants to take a shot at it, feel free. shouldn't be too hard. I'm just drained....

the second question (fill in the blank) is a drop down menu.
Here are the answer options:
10%, 20%, 40%, 50%, 60%

Unfortunately, no. Dreno has posted his homework before as well.

I gotta tell you, Dreno, I was gonna send you a PM a few weeks ago about how impressed I was that you seemed to be maturing lately and posting less nonsense and more constructive and helpful threads. The past few days... not so much.

Thanks for taking all that crap out of your signature, though.

interesting you find this immature...

i see it as me asking a group of friends to help me understand a concept i need help with. but ok. to each his own.

I didn't say this was immature. I said that it seemed to me like you were maturing. You're making a jump there that wasn't what I intended.

It's 40%.
There is 2,000 people in each quintile.
Total income is 500,000,000
Total income for second quintile is 7.2%= 36,000,000/2,000= 18,000

So the first and second quintile are considered below the poverty line.

i did that calculation but wasn't sure if it wanted me referring to the quintiles or not. thank you. i was thinking i had to figure out the exact percentage but wasn't sure what population to compare to and ugh. well thank you man. i can finally answer the other questions on that page now haha

I didn't stop. I just cut back a lot. And I was lurking mostly. I still popped into the "Quickie Questions" thread to help out when I thought I could.

Also, a certain former forum member isn't spamming the threads anymore, so that helps.

The wording is very poor and leaves room for interpretation (huge pet peeve)! Have fun with the rest.
