I had a rhodesian ridgeback in my youth, got the international beauty championship but he didn't like so much the carpets of events rings and i didn't continue competing.

He dead at 16 (a lot for a big dog) but was a nice friend, i remember him a lot and his picture is in the rhodesian's wikipedia page.

Now i live in a 3 floors house what can't allow me a big dog and i don't like the small ones. So i have a cat, well i'm not her owner but only her friend. You know, cats... ;)

Well, rhodesian is a primitive hunt dog. They are used to distract a lion while awaiting its master to make the kill. It's not a dog for a city and definitively not for not experimented owners. Let me keep this right, it's a noble animal who know when are joking and when are working but you must asume that if you go to the forest to a walk with him he can bring you, only with his teeth, a live male "muflón" (ovis orientalis musimon) like this:
