Chest Units

I was just wondering how many here do buy the one (three) chests?

I normally like the units inside very much. They are mostly unique and look cool.

I just got the Ursa Warrior :) Love it.

Same. I get one every so often. Or three as the case may be. Last time, I got 2 rares and 1 uncommon!!! Quite awesome luck on that. Basically ended up being well over 1400 gems worth of units with only 175 gems. :)
Tried this one and got a rare. Same one as you. BIG polar bear!

Yeah they're cool. I acquired 4 or 5 Ursa's as I was going for my Chimera to fit into my Beast Brigade.

Sorry about the noob question, but I always assumed that the percentages shown in the "adverts" were reflecting how many of the units were rare, uncommon, etc (eg, 15% of the units would be rare). However, from the above posts it seems that the percentage actually means the chance you have of getting such a unit (ie, 15% chance of getting a rare unit). Is my latter understanding correct (in which case, in theory, you could end up with no rares)?

You are correct, out of the three crates, you have a 15% chance to get a rare, 25% chance of an uncommon and a 60% chance of getting a common.

On MW, I have purchased the 3 crates before and have got three common units and once, I even received 3 rares - it is just random.

Thanks MM. Bet you danced a jig when you got 3 rares at one go. During this Boss event, I find myself muttering on the last strike, "Come on, just one more rare ..." lol :D

You are correct, out of the three crates, you have a 15% chance to get a rare, 25% chance of an uncommon and a 60% chance of getting a common.

On MW, I have purchased the 3 crates before and have got three common units and once, I even received 3 rares - it is just random.

Always best to get the 3 pack if you're going for rares. By my calc you break roughly even with at least 1-2 Uncommon and anything above that is gravy and cheaper gem-to-stat pt than single non-chest unit purchases.

I got so far: Eddercap (1x), Oracle (2x), Hwacha (1x), Zen Master (1x), Ursa Warrior (1x).

I once got 3 commons (which led to buying another 3-chest right away :) ), another time 3 uncommons

I never had 3 rares though. Once I get a rare I tend to stop

With my poor performance this Boss event, I find my self muttering "come on, just one rae, anything but another useless common":p
