True. Just went crazy on gold opens and timer resets ... 22 opens, not one of them files, lol.

going that ccrazy early on isn't very efficient. you can spend gold at any time.

In past events, I've noticed that the first few hours of an event has much higher rates for the special items. Guess not this time.

I can think of no reason to go all out gold spending on the first day. Player number one receives the same prize as player 25. Strategically.... you stay in the top 25 with minimal gold usage and then go crazy in the last day (or two).

I really cant see how players would spend hundreds of real dollars week after week. I wonder what percentage of the top 25 are using a gold hack.

Sleep is very overated, especially when you have workmen that start at 6am in the fkin morning going BANG BANG BANG. They used to put the radio on at 6am to but my gf went crazy one morning at them and they dont put it on until 9am now - the banging does not stop however.

If people stop spending Gold and boycot the event i bet they would stop but that's never going to happen :(

@Paulio: You said you did not feel like your money was worth the last top 25 prize. Any reason youre going for it again? Is it the +150 attack boost? Not hating. Just curious.

I don't know why some of these heavy gold spenders don't just come out and admit they have a problem (with gambling or otherwise). There's a stark difference between spending real money on a game claiming it's for entertainment, and spending real money to climb the ranks within the top 25 which serves absolutely no purpose. Whether you're #1 or #25, you still get the same prize.

And guess what? Not even a week later when a new event comes out, it starts all over again. Every event now I've observed people in the top 5-10 continue to spend gold with a day or two left to increase their total when the gap between themselves and the person at #25 is significant and practically unsurmountable in the time left.

No such thing as a gold hack.

Also, the items at 15 and 20 secret files are pretty good. Funzio is giving free players some love :D

The 15 and 20 items have the same total stats of the last event. 15 totaled 152 (A:85 D:67) and 20 totaled 240 (A:144 D:96) as well. Personally I liked the last ones better because of the higher attack points.

this is my first event and im only level 11. Ive been leveling slowly so i learn properly but this event got me pvping and pveing a fair amount for these file safes. This is a dumb question but ive done 15+ missions and 30+ attacks/robberies and havent got any of these event items. Am i missing something or am i just being impatient?

Its tough at a low level. I know because I had a camper account at a low level and the jobs just dont use enough stamina to get a good drop rate. My advice is to do jobs that require the most stamina use. I do jobs that require over 150 stamina and get a safe almost every time. I know its tough to do this at early levels. If you attack someone they have to own a safe in order for you to steal one.
