Does anybody here has experience with the championship rounds?

I am still a long way from getting there, but I was wondering what the rewards are when you win a round. Some rewards when finishing the tournament rounds (every 5) are pretty nice (I got cannons a few times).

Is there a friggin' amazing unit prize for completing ALL the TR & CRs? If not there should be, something on par with the box or boss event units considering the amount of time and honor & gold (to replace units) needed to complete them.

I'm on TR 97, so almost a quarter of the way there.

there are 200 TR rounds, I guess we are all assuming TR will also have 200, but we do not know if TR are the end, perhaps they will create a Knights Rounds just to keep us going...........lol

Ogamao (lvl 200) mentioned that he received a Foot Soldier Champion 5/5 after completing Champions' Round 25. I could ask him on his level of completion though.

@DIrishB: I put in the suggestion to CCM during AMA which also means currently there is probably no freaking awesome unit at the end of the tunnel.

@Guido69: A quarter of the way there is like only 10% completion. I am at TR 172 and PVP is a loss-making venture at my level. You only do it out of love.

There are 200 Championship rounds. Countersniper finished them all before quitting the game.

I like doing them for the extra experience points. With 20 stamina I can get between 200-250 on a bar. I'm looking forward to finishing the CR's so then I can focus attacks on all ally ranges and find the guys trying to hide with gold. LoL

The 5/5 Foot Soldier Champion is the ONLY reason I'm still working on the TR/CR quests.

Such a magnificent unit. Champion of all Foot Soldiers.

Ive stalled at tournament round 164. No reason to continue . At level 96 my army consists primarily of crocs and @ 5000 gold a pop the reward for completing this rounds does not add up. Best thing to do is take your time and look for guys who have excess gold and hit away, at least this way i could at least break even. Ive given that up to just because the awards are all honor units that are weak compared to my army. Gree has to change this in the game or just get rid of it cause its taking up space in my quests list.

yes - there's really little point in doing the quests outside of doing them. Not like the cannon I got for completing L200 did anything for me.

For those few people who might still do the tournament/championship rounds. The "infamous" Foot Soldier Champion is not the final trophy you receive after you finish all 29 championship rounds. I got the Champion after finishing round 25. After you finish round 29 you get another unit (honor unit) and the quest simply stops and disappears from your list.

Btw, the Foot Soldier Champion is a whopping 8/7 after the boost :)

You will get a honor unit after finishing every CR. They cycle through the honor units they have available. Finishing CR 25 awards you the unique (only by name) Foot Soldier Champion with a whopping 7/8 attack/defense.

Coincidentally that's why Sir Edmund Hillary climbed Mt. Everest. And finishing all the damn TR/CR rounds is tantamount to reaching Everest's peak, at least in touch-screen game terms. Of course, reaching BD10 is like reaching the moon... by jumping.

I don't buy any weapons and armors for adding to my stats. Eventually the items you get by killing monsters at higher levels will render those bought items useless. I already have several hundred weapons at stats that are higher than the best weapon you can buy. I would rather use the money for upgrading your economy.

With the new Honor units available, all of a sudden the Champion's round became worthwhile again, as you get 1000 Honor points when you finish a round, which goes quite some way towards buying these new honor units :)

Too bad you'll lose more honor units doing the quest than you'll be able to repurchase. Not complaining, just telling it like it is.

The units are worthless to anyone of high enough level to have reached it. I just got a War Golem as a prize...

I totally agree this unit is in my top 45 .......poor guy.....nobody wants him.
