Does Gree value its customers? Please answer my questionnaire

This thread is about Gree and how they value their customers.

I don't know about the rest of you but i'm becoming extremely annoyed by Gree's attitude towards this game and it's customers.

I feel they have totally ruined the game for the "free players" and for a number of gold spenders. Personally i have spent quite a bit of money on gold bars in the past and would often go through a whole vaults worth on each event. However, with the cut backs Gree has made regarding the events, it has turned me into a free player.

I wasn't a fan of the old style events because the majority of the time i would get to 9 items and know number 10 wasn't likely to come. I learnt my lesson fairly early on when i spent 4 vaults worth of gold on the event that offered free bank deposits. After spending 4 vaults i still didn't get the 10th item.

When the new style events were released i was really happy because there was a leaderboard which meant i could see how far away i was from winning the grand prize.

During the computer chip event i spent around a vaults worth of gold and finished in the top 500 which i was more than satisfied with. I also think there were a number of "free players" who made it into the top 500 as well during this event.

Then the Samurai Shards event was released and they cut the winners pool from 500 to 250 which erased any chances the free player had of winning the grand prize. They also cut the RP loot from 500 to 300 which is just ridiculous and extremely tight for a company making millions of $$. Then the Nitrous Tank event got released and they had removed the modifier for the top 250 prize.

Sorry Bill, I am just going to post my thoughts. Gree does not value it's customers at all. Anyone can see that. These events need to be discontinued until the game is improved to our liking, and we as customers need to collectively deprive them of income until they meet our wishes.

The way I see it and the problem is people are unbalanced. I per say am not a gambler. If I go to the casino I have a set budget to spend and I expect to lose it all. Unlike other people, seeing someone win 800k at a slot machine doesn't motivate me to gamble more...

Side note: I don't really like the leaderboard events, but I'm not protesting them either. I got top 50 in the first event, which gave a modifier of 10% increased attack - that's over 6,000 additional attack for me and growing, so to me, that one was worth the grind . I would much rather have another PvP tournament or the old style box event (even though I was horribly unlucky) because those give a chance to non-gold spenders as well.

In the past, I also spent a reasonable amount of $, most of the time with buildings and weapons. the first time I tried an event, the same one that offered free bank deposits, I spent more than 4 vaults of gold and got just the 9th item. Lessons learned (I thought).
Afterwards, I got all major prizes by spending around 2 vaults of gold each (actually, my stats would be better if I had bought weapons instead, but the events compelled me to, and really I enjoyed them).
Then in the new format:
1. "broken" diamond fists, position <20, spent around 5 vaults, I enjoyed but it was pricey.
2. katana, position <20, spent less than 2 vaults, it was nice, some improvement on how and when using gold, but...
I realized both prizes brought me little advantage in the game, since the top winners were basically the same, and most of the "pain in the a$$" players also got them - even after a huge investment, my "problem" was not solved.
3. smasher head, position <130, less than one vault of gold! I do think it worth! But... the problem remains the same, and it will never change, players with a rampant spending were, and will be, always the winners.*
4. current event, decision taken: no gold at all, the events are too frequent, it seems the winners will be the same, kinda boring, REALLY BORING!
The idea of including this game in my monthly expenses does not please me, I see no real improvements in the game itself, no money weapons bring me some advantage = it sounds like more gold is needed, forever and ever.
I'm almost done with it.*

I have been a regular member of this forum for the best part of a year now.

I'm not being negative here, because I actually love the game and its the most addictive game I've ever played over such a period of time. However, over the year or so I have seen many people from the community try to feedback and influence Funzio as to how they feel they should be ran as a company, and the features that they feel the game should have. In relation to the customers and in relation to how customers would like to see the game work.

You are simply wasting your time. Not once have Funzio made the slightest change to anything. And not once have they listened to any of the feedback. The deal with Funzio is that "Funzio is Funzio". They work how they work and if you dont like it you just need to move on.

I personally like the game. I have no issue with how they operate or how the game works.

If you think that doing things like this are going to change anything about the operations of Funzio, I am afraid you are going to find your hopes are futile. And you are simply going to frustrate yourself trying to get through to them.

My 2cents for what its worth. I actually got great & quick response b4 gree, but now i'm n this new event & my game isnt working write, so i filled out a ticket & havent heard anything back. Its keeping me from proceeding & i wish & thought that since i mentioned that n my ticket, it might make them hurry a little. Yes, i do some gold, but i sure as hell have put n my share of grinding bringing all of my areas to level 5 or 4. I have invested some dollars & dont regret it because i love the game, but gree, dont start blowing us off & forget us spenders got u where u r !!

I don't know about you guys, but if I get crappy customer service at an establishment, I don't go back. If you dont like the way you are treated, stop spending, or don't play.

How can you expect any change from them if the players don't change their spending habits? It makes no sense, cry about funzio and gree being greedy then turn around and buy a vault of gold. If you get down to it, the problem lies with you.

As a camper on this game for the most part, I do ignore most of the events because Gree doesn't give us free players much chance. However as an observer I think the events are becoming tailored for gold-spenders and will eventually become irrelevant to free players. The only event I ever properly participated in was the emerald one for free bank deposits, got 4 boxes in (low level player, not a gold-spender either).

I think if Gree is ready to allow such a gap between gold spenders and free players, events should be segregated to allow free players a better chance of competing without having to keep up with the players who spend ludicrous amounts of real money on this game.
