Congrats to USA beating Canada in extra time. One great game, and the skill levels of some of these girls is a huge leap forward from a few Olympics ago.

It was a quiet day today. I actually started to watch gymnastics yesterday. That dutch kid was good winning the gold on the high bar.
Felt very sorry for the chinese girl who couldn't stop crying, and having to smile for the cameras with her silver medal.
No way is she 20 yrs old. More like 13. Just the immaturity of losing isn't something you'd see from an adult.

I was in Frankfurt in the women's World Cup 2012. It was hard to get a goal against us at the end when we deserved the win but at the same time a team which wants to be champion can't switch off at the end.

I was watching BMX today. What a brutal sport! Almost every heat had someone falling or big crashes. Team GB did great on semis but failed to do the same on the finals. My wife will be really happy when comes back from work and finds out that Latvia won first Gold medal on the men's BMX. Well done!

Also football at 15:00 where Brazil plays Mexico. I hope Brazil wins but it's a hard one.

I was posting all GB medals but it's been too many that I'm losing track. I know GB got one more Gold this morning on men's kayak. They have 3 finals on boxing so they might have more.

USA should win the race for the medals. But third place for GB is a fantastic achievement.

It's the end of Olympic Games. It was a fantastic time. I really enjoyed it. Thanks to my injured knee I was able to stay home all the time and watch the games as much as I could. That's the 10 ten on the medal tables. Soon it will be the closing ceremony. I'm really excited about the end. I'm also curious to know how Brazil will be introduced at the end.

I'm sure I'd love to play water polo. I enjoyed watching a bit of water polo one day. I don't like swimming much nor diving but I did watch them. Too many woman sports on tv, not any guy sports. Well, hardly anyway.

Every single time I turned it on it was either swimming, volleyball. If I waited enough then I might get to see another sport Hutu usually just turned the channel. After a few days I just gave up. It sucked. Every single time was basically swimming.
