What should I buy after the high priest for defense? Is there anything to buy that is better? I am on level 80 and I also would like to know when whale territory starts? I need to raise my defense and I need to do it before I hit whale territory

Whale territory is 88 or slightly below. EDIT: Eh scratch that, while most whales around 100, I forgot the really high level whales can see even further down than they would.

The only units with defense higher than the high priest are the steam tank, hydra and dragon, all of which are at least 3x the price (and require very expensive infrastructure). Consider other options.

You could always upgrade the Magic boost building to increase the High Priest stats.

I thought the boost buildings only increased the attack, not defense.

Yep - 20%.

They do boost both attack and defense. My temple boosts for my high priests work just fine.
