There is noting that will ever be free in this world! If you get something for free you best believe someone payed for it! These are facts people, when I say noting I mean it!!! There is no such thing as free water, food, cloths, everything!! even the air we breath, us tax payers have to pay for it to be clean!!! Guys stop complaing about funzio/gree prices! Trust me nothing's gonna change, do I agree with there prices no! But there's a whole bunch of other things I don't agree on when it comes to prices. But at the end of the day you really want that item or whatever it is and you end up paying for it. You guys gotta remember that funzio/gree has to pay there workers and make money! They have bills and food to buy to, they also gotta support there family's! I'm not talking about the greedy CEO I'm talking about the people that work for funzio/gree... This is why there are so many events and this is why it's so hard to win them because they need money! If everything was free then how would they keep there games going? So this is how you all have to look at it, will things get better? I don't know but always prepare for the worst!!! Like they say people money makes the world go round and round and we all wake up everyday to make money that's just how it goes...

United States

There is no nationwide carbon tax levelled in the USA, although a few states have introduced the tax. There is widespread opposition to such a measure during the current era of low industrial growth.

Colorado

In November 2006, voters in Boulder, Colorado passed what is proclaimed to be the first municipal 'carbon tax'. It is a tax on electricity consumption (utility bills) with deductions for using electricity from renewable sources (primarily Xcel's WindSource program). Their goal is to reduce carbon emissions to those outlined in the Kyoto Protocol; specifically to reduce their emissions by 7% below 1990 levels by 2012.[151] Tax revenues get collected by Xcel Energy and are directed to the city's Office of Environmental Affairs to fund programs to reduce community-wide greenhouse gas emissions.[152]

The Climate Action Plan (CAP) tax is expected to raise $1.6 million dollars in 2010. The tax was increased to a maximum allowable rate by voters in 2009 in order to meet CAP goals. Currently the tax is set at $0.0049 /kWh for residential users (ave. $21 per year), $0.0009 /kWh for commercial (ave. $94 per year), and $0.0003 /kWh for industrial (ave. $9,600 per year). The revenues from the tax are expected to decrease over time as businesses and residents reduce their energy use and begin to use more solar and wind power. The tax will expire on March 31, 2013.[151]

California

In May 2008, the Bay Area Air Quality Management District, which covers nine counties in the San Francisco Bay Area, passed a carbon tax on businesses of 4.4 cents per ton of CO2.[153]

Some states are considering the imposition of carbon taxes. For example in 2006, the state of California, passed AB-32 which requires California to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. In an effort to execute AB-32 (Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006), the California Air Resources Board put forth the idea to implement a carbon tax but has yet to reach agreement with the Western States Petroleum Association who represent the refineries in the state. The WSPA holds that AB-32 only allows a carbon tax to cover administrative costs.[154]

Maryland

In May 2010 Montgomery County, Maryland passed the nation's first county-level carbon tax.[155] The new legislation calls for payments of $5 per ton of CO2 emitted from any stationary source emitting more than a million tons of carbon dioxide during a calendar year.[156] There is only one source of emissions fitting the criteria laid out by the council, an 850 megawatt coal-fired power plant owned by Mirant Corporation. The tax is expected to raise between $10 million and $15 million for the county which is facing a nearly $1 billion budget gap[157] The plan calls for half of revenue to go toward creating a low interest loan plan for county residents to invest in residential energy efficiency upgrades.[156] The County's energy supplier buys its energy at auction, so Mirant must continue to sell its energy at market value, which means no discernible increase in energy costs will be felt by the counties residents. In June 2010 the Mirant Corporation opened a lawsuit against the county to stop the tax. It is expected that litigation will take years to be completed [158]

I dont think they would ever change prices now so you just choose to pay it or not but I have not seen anyone moaning at the moment ,I think people are moaning about since gree taking over having to now pay a lot to win an event , I fear free players may not get 10 items in box events now or a fewer amount , time will tell , a lot of people want the events to give you a chance to win even if it is a slim one , like the box events have been in past , gold players will pay to guarantee winning and free players will hope to win and pick up the odd one here and there that's all we want . Fun for everyone , and a lot of people are moaning at the game just not working ie. my 30% ground attack boost is not used at least not for boss , one and a half boss events with wrong attack used the HALF an event it was correct now this one I'm 3k down and I always get events 12_24 hours late. Valid reasons to have a little moan I think and it is on here in the hope that someone from funzio will read it and act . I know two hopes bob and no .

Can anybody translate me "trees are free"... I would like to get some. Trees are property of someone (private or state forest). You just are lucky to use side effect of YOUNG/GROWING trees, which C absorption (in CO2, out O2). Old trees give nothing to carbon cycle, flan.

Somebody mentioned water. More than one billion of people have unsufficient efect to drinking water. DRINKING water. These countries with not sufficient amount of drinking water will CONTINOUSLY suffer in building economy and keeping hygiene/illness level controlled. Due to very simple reason - you cannot spent your time for creating added value/economy as you spent 5 hours a day for going for water and bringing it home. You cannot have extensive travelling, so you are limited to your area. You cannot have something what we call hygiene as water is for SURVIVING= drinking, not for washing your hair or taking refreshing showers. You've seen such countries in your TV - it is where women go out every morning with 15l tanks in each hand.

A billion people and it is increasing.
