Awesome data HK! you've had some pretty great luck with the loot this time. 3 rares and 3 uncommons!! i've also beat 15 and only got 1 rare and 2 uncommons.

Was pretty psyched to get those, all in a row too. I think I could have killed boss 15 and 16 with free hits, but didn't want to risk a do-over and wait 2 hours.

updated first post. i topped out at 17. once i started the 17th boss i purchased 100 bio warfares (raised me stats by about 1300). still just barely took him down with 13 hits

Boss finally got me at 19 for gold. Needed that 14th hit. One better than last 2 events where both started on 18 - I attribute it to the time I'm able to spend this go around (not on the road).

Here is where I am so far on the new event. I just finished 21 with cash hits, and haven't increased my attack at all. Waiting to see how far I can get.

Nice on the elite base jumper!Thanks HK! I personally think it's the most underrated event unit so far. It's the boost that keeps giving indestructible units for nongold boss wins and will save on gold to get 30 boss wins if a choose to go that high.

Yeah, considering a 900 gold LE is far less in stats.

I think the last boss event cost me a little over 1,000. I don't remember for sure though.

This time, I can defeat 10 boss only without using gold. Result is not so bad. :)

Very interesting that you and I have similar alliance attack #'s off by maybe 2k; I'm about 12 lvls higher @ have about twice as many allies, and I can't get past boss #10 w/o having to use all $. In all honest, the only way I beat lvl 9 was because I leveled up inbetween and got a free refill of health. '

Do you have the 20% faster health regeneration item?

Congratulations HK.
With a drastic increase in attack (over 6k) I've managed to get up to fifteen, mostly commons though which is disappointing.

For the exercise I just did a calculation as to what I expect it would take me to get to thirty.
Total Hits required would be in range of 605-620.
Paying for all cash hits the total cost would be between 153 to 158 million plus 1520 -1700 Gold.
Obviously that amount of cash is a bit difficult to raise therefore it would be much more mega hits.
Using all Mega hits it would be around 2400 Gold.
Running a cash/Gold mix probably do it for around 1900 Gold.

16 units for 2400 Gold.....as against I could do an LE set for 1450 then buy 5 of the 3 ordinance crates and a single for the same price. 21 units that way and I am certain I would end up in front stats wise.

Alternatively I could just buy 13 sets of the 3 ordinance crates plus two singles. 41 Units that way and again I am certain I would be a Long way in front stats wise.

Charting the damage done it was suprisingly linear only slightly curved. And adding units as I went did bump damage but I still had to use Gold on the same boss as last week and it cost the same gold as last week.

Beat Boss Death! In the procees acquired 8 rares, 6 uncommons, and 16 commons. Black Death Soldier in inventory already. Not too bad for 720 gold. Data in OP.

@wupuck - no, I don't have the event bonus for health.

congrats!! I can't get over how lucky you were. I ended up going to boss 22 (my limit with 1 med pack) and still ended the event with 1 rare. No aqua bomber.

So with all the data you have compiled, what do you figure is the best strategy for this event?

For starters: 1) boost up stats with units as much as possible (Q boosted by 6k and did better) - from what people are posting it seems that your attack should be disproportionately higher than your rivals at your level (attack and ally), though I can only account for my mid-range level of 70’s; and 2) never start a boss kill without a full health bar. After that it's a matter of will - this event sucks the life out of me, but I'm persistent and watched the clock like a hawk to maximize the hits and gold.

For maximizing time - I was diligent about the clock. Used the 13-hit method and waited 1m:15s to generate the last hit. If I bought a med pack, and the final kill only took 2 hits at the end, I would only wait 50 minutes to launch a new boss with a full health bar rather than having to wait the traditional full 100 minutes to regenerate full health). Towards the end with boss 27 - 30, I still tried to get the 5th hit from a med pack, but time gets really tight. I used a mega blast on boss 30 for security since I was down to less than a minute for final kill and I didn't want to lose him.

For maximizing gold - basically maximize time and hits as mentioned above. Don't waste the end hits of a med pack and launch a new boss accordingly and always use the 5th hit, shorten the wait time for 5th hit when time gets tight (no less than 1 minute, you need 1 unit of health).

Boss Shenk (#2) took me 1280 gold versus Boss Death (#3) 740 gold because of the time I was able to spend - ran out of days to work on Boss Shenk. First Boss only took 280 gold and I'm thinking Funzio tightened parameters. Overall my level and stats haven’t really changed that drastically between Shamba, Shenk, and Death at Boss 30:

Boss 30 Shamba – Level 70, 130 allies, 24561 Attack, Boss strength 20041 – 280 gold
Boss 30 Shenk – Level 72, 131 allies, 25542 Attack, Boss strength 22009 – 1240 gold
Boss 30 Death – Level 73, 135 Allies, 27513 Attack, Boss strength 25656 – 720 gold
