I have to say a little disappointed it wasn't the Epic Boss event but we got 4 new maps so everything is good

Thank you. I've gotten two boxes using that method, zero fighting battles. Tried to open first box and was denied (I don't have any gems), what are chances I can find and open 20 boxes before deadline?

Hmmm, gone through 3 full bars of energy killing monsters in several of the middle maps and not one box has dropped for me yet. Strange because for all the other events they drop more often than weapons or armor. I have terrible luck with the gold option so I'm keeping my fingers crossed I'll make it to 5 for this event.

I agree. CCM has stated in an earlier post that the drop rate increased. But that does not do you any good if you cant open the box. . .unless of course you use gems to open the box

I've been playing since the event started on and off to let energy bar refill and still haven't gotten a single box to drop. I've restarted my device several times, the event has been showing up fine, just no boxes at all and I've killed 3 or 4 dozen monsters on Blisterfoot Bog and several other maps. I've sent a ticket into support, but I'm ticked off since I doubt I'll even get the 5 gem unit now (I have terrible luck with the gold option).

Just when I thought these events couldn't frustrate me any more than they were!

With the current success rate of opeing boxes and getting helm I doubt that many (any) free player will get to 25. Adding another day or two also ensures that many free players who are stuck at 1 or 2 helms below their desired unit have more time to finally push the buy button.

Having a longer event now almost certainly means that no free player will get into the top 250.

I really don't care about the top 250, top 50, or even top 1 unit. Great stats, of course, but other than that, nothing that really intrigues me. The 20 and 25 helms units look cool though.

Nope I haven't gotten around to adding in the equipment as I worried about having to update them due to the random nature of the way the equipment are arranged in KA.

Was hoping to see some new loot in the new maps but so far besides a cool looking first map, cool third map, a very awesome looking secret boss in Mount Inferno's Cauldron, you would prefer going back to the 4 maps prior instead..

I might have to head back to dwarven mine to continue farming since the gold output is higher and help pay for the 2.5k tax per hour I have now.

I've existed in the Funzio world doing mostly PvP. I've done all the scheduled map quests through Dragon's Roost (25 maps including Dragon's) after that there are only 9 maps left (34 maps total). I've mastered only the 1st map to level 5, the next six to level 4 - was mostly interested in the skill point. Want to match up my defense now to attack (attack is at 112 with the bonus from egg event). Make sense?

I'm on 7 helms all middle option with 4 days to go. After some unexpected leveling going for completing the new map quests and sitting on round 156 for pvp quests I find it annoying that the middle option continues to rise in gold cost as you level.

15-20 sucked! That took probably 20 opens.
20-25 is better. I've gotten 3 out of the last 5 to be at 24 right now.

It fluctuates... Hit a dry spell then get a couple in a row. <shrug>

It doesn't take much energy/xp to get boxes. I've got like 70 of the damn boxes right now and I wish I had less, almost every damn monster is dropping them.. much more so than equipment chests that I want! I'd just get enough boxes so you can open 1 an hour until the event ends and see what happens.

Geesh. Last event I had about 140 boxes still left with 62 bars collected. I think a high drop rate increases the amount needed for top units, thus requiring ppl to spend more gems if they want to Place.

Yes, that has been my experience too. Was stuck on 8 for over a day and then suddenly jumped to 10. Now stuck again at 10 for the last 15-16 hours. Wrote to CCM to please look into this as its getting a little silly if the odds of opening or helm drop rates are so lousy.

@Hobtuse - I don't need them to admit anything (not that, I agree, they ever would). Just fix it so that people can end the event happily. If they did mess up or overtighten something, then they should just allow helms galore regardless of option to open until people hit 25 and then slow it down.

Just sharing how bad it has got (for me at least) during this event ... I actually found myself for a short time on the top 250 list. First time that has happened and considering I'm a totally free player .... can imagine how some of the other players are feeling.

I don't care what Gree says about open rates on KA they are still screwy compared to MW.

The MW event has been going on for two days less and I have got 7 items - so three indestructible units. Even if the probabilities were the same, I should have reached the 15 items in KA by this time by using the same middle option, whereas, I have been on 9 now for the last 30 attempts ( so about 36 hrs).

Also, please bring back loot items to break up the monotony of the sorry streaks. If I could suggest, get rid of the 25 and 50 Honor as well and bring in either very low casualty units or weapon and armour loot items.

Either they have made an error with the algorithms or the whole purpose behind setting up KA was as a revenue stream only which means that they will not change it at all. I am not sure which yet but am starting to lean towards the second option.

What is your level in the game? In the info, it says that the ties are determined by level. I highly doubt the game will allow a 20th level player to get the 4th unit very easily. However, I am always 1 gem behind the top 250 so at the end I could by some helms :) I dont complain from the open rate, I got sorry every now and than, mostly helms and some gold or Honor.

Good luck people! I have given up, and have been using the trusty rusty knife for multiple sorry(s) already.

But at 20 helms, I think it's still a pretty decent haul without spending gems. Just that I didn't think 5 more helms was possible in a day though at least I gave it a good go.

Pissing me off I got to 20 helms using gold and then switched to gems to get to 25 and since then only gold 1 helm all other opens have been gold and honor.

can we get back those initial events we had? just get to 10 of whatever instead of these auction style ones? I would love to see that but I think we are stuck with auction style till they come up with a new style.

My guess though is the top 250 prize in the next event will have the boost of regain health 20% faster for bosses. Atleast I hope it's on the top 250 prize and not the top 50

Well Im a free player. Its because of them that I can play this game for free so I have no complaints.

Think about this. Its a "want" and not a "need". This is a WANT of the guys that buys gems. All people have wants, its just different for people. And Im sure you have a WANT that you dont need but bought it anyway. Its the same as buying gems and spending cash in a game. You dont need it but you want it.
