good, thing (I hope) is that more and more player are seen that GREE is just after their cash, and less people will spend too much on the event........there are always the players that to spend $3,000 reacl cash in an event is the same as any of us going to the movies..........thank to them we get to play free.....I am just worry they will get tire of being squeeze by GREE-D and will stop playing

Well the Top 250 prize doesn't give any bonuses. Guess they're slowing down in that area.
But special units go up to 25 gems now. So they're still tinkering with the formula..

This event is a bad joke and anyone who spends a dime on it has some serious compulsion problems.

I think is because of this AUCTIONS

my guess is that all the players like me for example that were willing to spend $20 or $50 on gems to try to get #10 in prior events, are not spending any money now or way less than before, because:

1 - we know will never get in the top 250 (cut from 500 before) without spending over $150 at least
2 - Drop rate of boxes increase (I believe the more boxes you have, the harder to open them)
3 - Open rate still the same or reduced, to make players use gems to ensure opening and perhaps reaching #20, now added a #25 prize unit

The forum is such a small niche (though in my opinion a valuable resource of data and info) and percentage of the total population. This freemium model requires millions of downloaders, but depends on a tiny percentage of user base to fund the product and development and marketing.

Guess the new maps are only relevant to the more advanced players who are at or towards the end of the game (in terms of maps). For the rest of us, I guess these events still are the attention grabber because its more immediate. I don't have my iPad with me. Can any post a picture of the event screenshot? Just curious to see what's on offer ...

My events working, been playing since it started on and off, killed dozens and dozens of different monsters on 4 different maps, still not a single Abyes box has dropped for me. I thought they increased the drop rate? Normally I'd have a couple dozen at this rate, now I'm just frozen out of this event apparently. Anyone else having this problem?

Ive restarted my device several times, and sent in a ticket to support, but doubt I'll get an answer or fix before the weekend (and event) are over.

It's working for me now. After draining 4 full energy bars (630 and 640 each time... I leveled), I still hadn't gotten a box and sent in a ticket. Opened the game again 5 minutes later and got 3 boxes after killing 5 monsters.

Have to give Funzio credit for a quick turn around! Now to see how many Helms I can snag.

That is just a re-paint of the first event prize, they Hydra that had 20% less casualties as a bonus

I know you can reset for 20 gems but, you work out the averages... You don't automatically get a helm if you reset and even if you do, these people must have ever ending money supplies or constantly installing some sort of hack...😡😡😡

Please let me into how you get 10 million gems and a couple of trillion gold coins and if you say 'post on 15 walls and do this and that '....... What a load of trollocks...💩💩💩💩

Gems. If you have 1000+ energy - you can farm a lower level map and get helms pretty quickly. If you reset that once or twice, I suspect you could get 40-50 helms in about 5 mins.

I have no problems with getting the boxes (at the end of the last contest I had about 103) it's opening them all.

Either without spending hundreds of pounds/dollars (or running a hack for gems and gold) time just runs out...

Is there a way to farm gems???... If there is, I'd like to know please...

I almost wonder if the current leader will be able to get it much cheaper than he did prior, since he's already got a massive lead and shown everyone that he's willing to spend what is needed to win the big prize. Might be a good auction strategy. The "why bother if he has such a lead."

no hack required, just a lot of gems and money

he is level 130+ so he has a lot of energy. You kill dozens or hundreds of monsters and gather a huge pile of boxes. If you need more boxes you can use gems to refill your energy. Then you use the gem and reset option to plow through your mountains of gems and voila... 133

That is just speculation on my part but it seems reasonable to accomplish it that way with a lot of cash. My estimate is that you need about $1k for 130 gems (if you use the reset and open with gems option).

This way, even if you have an army of the strongest as of yet dragon (70/43), you will still use your indestructible units you win (second unit won is 52/44, so you'll keep it for defense) for a while until you build that up. The first unit gives you better def than even the HP.

I had tryed 12 in a row with "Fair Chance" and got 12 "sorry"!! I'm level 51... Does anybody know if the level has some impact in the chance? ie, a lvl 90 has more chances than a lvl 51?

I usually have terrible luck with the gold option, open on average less than 20%, and if those less than 1/3 are the vial/helm/what-have-you.

However, this event I'm having pretty good luck. Opened about 10 boxes with gold, got 5 helms so far, and 2 or 3 honor and gold prizes. I'm actually blown away by the luck I'm having, though as I approach the dreaded number 7, I expect that'll probably change.

Still, I should be glad I get at least the one or two lower units from each event.

I'm level 51 as well and out of the last ten attempts I've had 4 helms, 1 6,000 gold, and 5 sorries. It is not based on player level but it does get more difficult the more helms you have.
