There are now two more quests available,
1) Soldiers from Hell (My Hell Soldiers Ought to be enough to quell your little ambition)- Slay 4 Hell Soldiers in Mount Inferno's Cauldron
2) Containing the Beasts ( Slay the Pyre Dragons that Malik has brought here. Slay then before they are free to roam the world)-Slay 4 Pyre Dragons in Mount Inferno's Cauldron.

Restart the game and wait for about 5 mins for new event downloading in background, then restart again, you'll see it.
If not, repeat again.

It helps to flush Kingdom Age out of iDevice memory and complete restart the machine.

Killed some monsters in the last new map and it claimed I got a "Quickblade" (twice). After scrolling through my inventory I don't have any quickblades. Anyone else experience this?

It was there for a long time. I got 21 Quickblade. It's just a regular weapon 24/12.

Farming the last map hoping for new loot, still using stuff 25/15 15/25 gear from long ago.... damn my bad luck!

The amount if gold you receive seems preety poor when compared to units on other maps

Its a bit odd, Shipwreck Cove et al stepped the gold up from the maps before, these maps seem to have stepped it back down.

Except for the bosses, the gold rewards for which are just terrible. (4.8k gold for 706 hit points? Seriously?)

I'm not doing the new maps anymore until the drops and gold are worth it. Seems like its not, back to dwarven mine since i never did get the drops i want from there.

Yup going back to Dwarven Mine to farm too.. better xp/gold/loot drops.. just got gemmed battle suit .. still trying to find gemmed battle plate..

In addition, the Pyre Dragons haven't spawned yet for me. Understood from other players that you need to kill Malik for them to spawn.

To be honest looking at he value, I'm not sure I'm even going to do the maps and I'm one that prefers quests and pve. However when you compare oh say the dwarves man a hit value at 74 will gain 5k whie the new maps have a 2k value, that's ridiculous and may not be worth the time

Especially since there's not any determinable new/improved loot to compensate for that.
