I thought it is 156 now because the lowest level I can see is 156.

I remember once I hit 142 I got attacked by payam he was level 200. Maybe they changed it now I'm level 196 and I see high 150s

Okay so maybe not...I refreshed like 30 times just to see the lowest I found was mid 160s they most def changed it from 142 to 160 something

Funny thing is that higher levels can see me, but I can't see them. I'm at 161 and can see from 156-165 but routinely get attacked by higher levels. Got hit by Koralene at lvl 200 a couple months ago during the fight event, but haven't been hit by anyone over 180 for at least the last month. So I think it is a moving target, constantly going up as more players level up

As more and more people get to the higher level, the shark tank will only increase in level. Where it was 140 has moved to 150 and 160. By the time I get up there it'll probably be at 190.

I'm level 162 and keep getting hit by about 175, but no higher than that.

I'm 145 and have not been getting attacked by anyone over 147/148 I can only see 146 max, I will let you know as I level up when I reach it

I doubt they "change" the level cap... it probably has to do with the amount of players in that bracket... maybe it setup so that there has to be ie:10000 players visible for a lvl200... and if there isn't enough lvl200 it starts taking in more and more lower lvl players...

I don't know if this is true or not... but it would make sense as the bracket keeps changing, because more people are reaching lvl200?

Level does keep increasing, I thought it was 142, but when I got there, nothing changed. I'm at 147 now and still only see 1 or 2 ahead/behind me.

I'm at level 164, but the lowest I can see is
157 and max 169. Why can't I f.ex take on
Level 179 if they attack me? Sure I can take revenge, but
Not go in on rivallist and find someone at level 170-and up.

Yeah, its been gradually increasing since - Id hardly cAll it a shark tank now. If you don't like it just drop below 400mafia and camp or lvl up that way.
