Hopefully, this will be of use to someone. Up to boss 12, I stayed at 300 allies without adding power. After this point, I accepted all pending ally requests bringing my total to 367. This brought my total raw attack strength up ~3000. No units were added, only allies. I'll see if I can accomplish the task of defeating boss #13.

Guys, get an idea of the total hit points it is taking to get the elite down. Some of you will be able to increase your stats significantly so while the health points increase you will take less hits, however this can catch you towards the end as there is a clear indication that the strength towards the end is not increasing linearly.

No boss event for me yet. Has not showed up yet.

Had similar situation Poopenshire. Took a few restarts before the splash screen even showed up and then quite a few MISSIONS to trigger, as I noticed this time it does state missions whereas before I am sure it said ANY event.

I was sitting one hit off my latest go for a Brigand Lightning and didn't want to chance it so just kept playing on the lowest levely map until it activated.

I went 18 bosses last time with all commons - glad I got a rare already to break that streak. I don't see me getting past about #16 or 18 on this one without gold - and I'm not sure this is where I want to spend gold anymore :/

This event is running precisely the same as the last with respect to the rate the Elite Health points increase as against YOUR initial strength.

The rate of increase is also Level dependent.

Copenhagen is already looking good to nail number 30....:cool:

yea at least i got 3 gaurdians. i had to spend a lot of gold though. now i'm nearly out. and i just moved into a new apt so i cant buy anymore even though its on sale. ugh.

Yes Vitus, another beat the Elite event. It was available at varied times, wasn't in Australia till well after it had been mentioned here. I have been logging the Elite's total health versus my initial base cash attack and comparing it to last event and it is coming in almost exactly the same as that one.

Already figured number 30 is well out of reach for me. Would cost either 2700 Gold plus around 220 Million to get, or less cash and somewhere near 4000 gold. No way....It would be far better value picking up a couple of the LE sets.

Go buy three or four of the LE sets instead....better "value" for your Gold AND you don't spend ungodly hours watching a bluddy clock tick down so you can try to take the next elite down...:p

I closed the game and killed the app over and over, took six times but finally got the boss splash screen. I found that even though the boss event is in the goals I never got a boss until after I got the splash screen once.

I'm just on 12 right now. He's going to take 10 or 11 cash hits I'm assuming. Hit him 9 times so far. I do have the faster health recovery boost from the last crate event, so I can get 15 hits in without needing medpacks.

I replied to your post in the other thread regarding that. Yes, I'm at 81 and see the same tier. I think the boss events are tiered differently. War Priest is at level 88 and he has the same tier of units we have on both events. Maybe these are the top tier???

Flan -- my other game I'm at level 32 with 35 allies. My attack is 3216 and level 8 boss will take around 10-11 hits for me as well. I have a lot of ally requests pending, might try accepting them all once I get stuck.

Yea Based on my Calculation you should be able to maximize 16 Hits without gold instead of 13.

Full Health=5+1 min =6
21 Min=8
42 Min=10
63 Min=12
84 Min=14
105 Min=16
You could potnetially have as many as 15 min remaining but nothing you could do with it except for buy gold but again that would net you 6 hits instead of 5.

Wow ryan that a long time. Well i have just finished boss 6 and so far i have been very lucky. 4 of the common air unit. it has nice defense. Also 2 of the rares both coast bombers which is the highest sea attack unit. I am UK and it is awesome.

Hahaha yea i don't have the unit but when i posted for some reason i was calculated the first attacks like the boss was only hurting you @20 instead of 25 for some reason. However when i walked away from my computer and realized i was off in my initial calculation and felt bad (hoping you wouldn't start to calculate off 16 haha)

Done at 7. Took a level up at just the right time to get that. I added 50% more to my attack with allies. (Unfortunately, put me in a higher ally bracket and I got hit for 6 mil an hour before I was going to upgrade my oil platform).

Well I had some free time and figured someone might find it useful/interesting/whathaveyou

Granted it's a small sample size, but I tallied up everyone who has been tracking their boss loot so far and received the following....

n = 330 total bosses killed

245 commons -----> (220)/(293) = 0.742
49 uncommons -----> (43)/(293) = 0.148
36 rares -----------> (30)/(293) = 0.109

These are definitely not 100% accurate (in terms of actual probabilities of receiving a common, uncommon, rare), as I took into account everyone who has been tracking their loot so far in this thread. So that means the people who have killed say 3 bosses and received 1 rare are kind of skewing the results. As the rare rate is no where near 33%. And I highly doubt the actual uncommon rate is 15% while the rare rate is 10%. But these should give people an idea on what the rates are..

Had 23k attack for 1st boss event now have 35k attack and I would say if anything i think I will beat 1or2 less bosses now , work that out when they say increase your attack ? Levelled up a few times but that is unavoidable . Doesn't make sence to me :/

I just started boss 21, had to use 1 med pack on boss 20. 3 rares, 3 uncommon and the rest common. This is about the same loot drop as last time for me.

See how this boss goes then decide if I'm going to continue.

The boss difficulty curve on this one is even steeper than the last event for me. I got up to seven with all free hits. 8 used a mix, 9 was 12 cash hits, and 10 I can't beat with 13 cash hits.

This, despite that I do about 3000 more damage with cash hits than free(6 thousand something with free, 9 thousand something with cash). So that means the boss jumped up about 50 percent in health points in 3 levels. I would have to spend a car payment to win this one. No can do.

I am grateful for the units I got and at least I got a rare this time.

Well, #13 for me also was a common. Bummer. At least I'm still well within my ability to beat bosses this time around. It only took ten hits, while last time at this stage I was taking all 13 hits and having to add allies and buy tons of units just to barely win. I can't make any heads or tails of this event. My bosses seem slightly weaker this go-round, even though the only change has been that I added 20+ B-52s.

Updated status. When starting a new boss using the "3 hit, wait 2 minutes and then hit 2 times method" the 5th hit is not doing any damage to the boss. I can still get two hits after 26 minutes for round 2. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I managed to get 2 rares and 1 uncommon of my 11. Both rares were the infantry unit. May try to do one more with a level up.

Atleast some of you have had good luck on Rares in 1 or 2 of the event. I have got shafted in all 3 so far

1st - 2
2nd - 4
3rd - 2 (with 12 bosses to go)

8 rares in 78 bosses that 10% I would have better odds just buying 3 pack crates.

Side note I never noticed till just now you get a special item for buying the compleat set of LE's not like it really matters I don't buy them anyways

Well, just did my first gold spend of this boss event for boss 10, got myself another sealine bomber. A great unit for 20 gold.

I plan on buying one more medkit and using a level, hoping I can squeeze two more units out for another 20 gold. The commons at this bracket have stats that are worth 20 gold when compared to stats of common crates and cheaper gold units and all will make it into either my defense or offense where I'm at, so the downside for me is minimal. I would not be spending this otherwise.

Update: looks like I may be done on this event. I was able to beat 17 bosses, the last with the help of a nicely timed level up. That is two bosses further than the previous event (which I also used a level up) and I think five further than the first boss. I was able to pick up 5 rares and 1 uncommon, I'm satisfied with that. Previously I gained 2 rares and two uncommon in each.

Before these boss events I was focusing almost exclusively on defense. Since the first boss I've added approx 30-40 B-52's but after the second have only been adding stealth bombers, prob 15-20. I will attempt to add a few more bombers and make one more attempt at the boss on the last day it is available. But now I get to search for 'gold caches' as I was so close to leveling up before that I didn't want to PVP and level up until I could use it effectively!

Yes, leveling up gives a full health bar. So, if possible you want to time your level up. Do your normal first five hits. Then, PVP or PVE to level up. Now you can do a fresh set of 5 hits as if you bought a medpack.

You get 5 extra attacks with Medpack and if I remember correctly a megahit is only 4X cash hit strength

x4 for me... no IPH to speak of yet... ran out of cash on hand at boss 23... after that raiding and end boss payouts saw me part way through... soooo many medikits using free hits. I wish I was 20 levels lower for my IPH.

I am on boss 23 now. So far not much luck with drops. Total score 18 common and 4 uncommon.
My IPH is also not high enough to permit me all these cash hits. In order to be able to afford it, I have to use the boss time as a 2 hour whaling window and get me as much cash as possible from raids. This cash is for buying B-52 and cash hits for the next boss. During these raids I never loose a unit. I had to use 3 medkits so far. 8 bosses to go.

I am using cash. No free hits only in combination with medkits. My detailed loot tracker is on page 2 of this thread.
So far i had to use 1 medkit on boss 19,21 and 22.
Expecting 1 medkit and 1 power attack on 23. (medkit after 5 hits and power attack after hit 15 or 16)

The first boss had cumulative stats of 1,100. The last 2 both had 1,350 combined.. We'll see if they step it up again.

Hey Guys I hate to Bring this up with the luck many of you have been having....but i just beat boss 18. I've gotten 7 Rares so far and i've gotten 5 Rares with the last 6 Bosses i defeated. I don't have enough gold to make it to the end as i just maxed out on my free hits....but i do have a some free tapjoy gold. Do i push my luck and spend some of my hard earned tapyjoy gold or just bow out and smile with the luck that i've had?

Just finished boss #30. Wow my heart sank again when I did not see the boss pop up right away. I leveled up to 80, unlocked a map got more loot, I had so many screens and the prize was the last one!

Anyways finished with 5 rare, 8 uncommon and 17 commons. That's about the same as the last event.

Just finished boss 30 with the Black Death Soldier, 5 rare, 10 uncommon and 15 common. 4 of the rare are boats (2 of each), so as a UK player I'm pretty happy.

Figuring this boss event was ending tonight I wanted to take one last try. In the last three days I've added 6 B-52's, 5 Stealth Bombers, 15 Expert Attack Drones, plus yesterday i won the 7th and today I won the 9th and 10th items in the crate event (first time winning, yeah me!). I figured with all that added I should be able to beat one more boss and then I would be close enough to another level up that I would get a second boss.

It wasn't enough. But as I was only 200 points from leveling up I did that, used two more hits and,whoooo hoooo, got 1 more rare! I now end with 6 rare, 1 uncommon and 11 common.
