These events are ruining the game for people who actually spend money on life instead of an app on their phone.

1st day 2 out of 3 openings were Nitros. After that had about 12 consecutive "Sorry...". 2nd day managed to open 4 Nitros. 3rd day 2 Nitros. And today have had 5 consecutive sorrys. Don't understand these Sorry streaks that sometimes happens.

Similar rates to me other than your day 2. I'n glad I'm not the only one getting a very low amount of Nitrous. Check out mine on page 1 - I'm currently only getting 'Fail' or '$10,000' (Epic fail), literally nothing else! I've got 7 crates left on hand so I'm gonna give up when they run out just to save the cash. Would be nice to get to 10 Nitrous from one of those 7 at least

You've been kinda steady each day with your Nitros. You should easily hit 15...

Note that starting at the 10th try, I started to track qty and percent of only the past 10 attempts to see if there was a trend.

Looks like everytime I got better than about 30% nitro/prize, it would turn bad. So it looks like the event (for me overall) is about 70% fail, 30% success.

I have been doing mainly cash option with some gold mixed in. I have given myself 4 opens a day in gold and have been in and out of the top 250. The funny thing is I've gotten more tanks on the cash open then with gold. I just can't fathom how much money people are putting into this. I splurge on a vault of gold every other time there is a sale and i think I'm nuts for that. How people have close to 300 tanks is mind boggling. Must be nice to be loaded lol.

That 10.000 cash prize is ridiculous...I have won 8 x 10.000 = 80.000.

Box opening cost me 11800 x 8 = 94400. So I have "won" -14.400! Yeahhhhhhh!

Considering also my mates who are at level 200... - 10.000 for every 10000 cash prize...

It should be at least 50000 the minimum, considering the cost of the gold option( 15 gold). You get 50.000 as a refund for selling a smoke shop (Costs 15 gold also).

From what i've experienced so far, i believe over the course of an event the percentage evens out for the cash option.

Here's my stats for this event so far.


Total number of open attempts (Cash & Gold) during the event = 92

Number of "Cash" open attempts (Medium chance to open) = 92
Number of successful "Cash" opens = 47
Number of fails = 45
Number of Nitrous Tanks received from all "Cash" opens = 23

Number of "Gold" opens (100% chance to open) = 0
Number of Nitrous Tanks received from all "Gold" opens = 0
Number of timer resets = 0
Number of gold bars used = 0

% of "Sealed Crates" opened using the "Cash" option = 51%
Drop rate of Nitrous Tanks received from all "Cash" open attempts = 25%
Drop rate of Nitrous Tanks received from successful "Cash" opens = 49%
Drop rate of Nitrous Tanks received from all "Gold" opens =
N/A

Your experience is pretty good. I'm having trouble getting past 10. I had way less tries this time around as I use iPad now and can't carry it with me. Overall what I see here kinda supports your idea. The more you are trying to open the more nitros you are getting. My open rate is definitely over 40% but out of these 40% I'm getting nitros just about 25% of the time. No gold at all this time around.

Who knows, they could be using any sort of additional data or user usage patterns/info. Or, they may not be using a straight forward call to a random number generator, instead they could be using a simulated dice approach. Simulating multiple dice would yield a bell curve of results rather than a simple linear pattern.

I finished with 36 tanks and came in 163, in total I think I spent about 400 in gold. I was opening about 16 to 18 a day (yes I'd wake up in the middle of the night and open one, sad but true lol.) I would open about 4 or 5 with cash and then one with gold. On the 4th day I fell out the top 250 with 22 tanks and actually did a couple of resets for gold and then the tanks started dropping like crazy on the cash option. In the end I spent a little more gold then I wanted to but I usually don't spend gold in events but I compare the stats on the head smasher item I got to some of the items that cost 600 to 800 gold and the stats aren't even close. So for a moderate gold spender like me I'll take it. Though it Would have been nicer to get a little perk with it like the street demon had.
