I just broke into the 7k IPH club this morning. Where is everyone else at? Oh, and I'm at Level 44, by the way.


EDIT: I can't seem to see how to edit the poll wording, but if anyone reads this, my intent was to survey IPHs as of today (July 16th). So, if you have a building or buildings completing today, please enter the upgraded IPH.

Also, please do post your IPH if it's over 10k - I see at least one person has this(!).

Interesting, we have a classic bell curve distribution for the moment (n=8), with median and average at 5-5.9k.

I'm just under 5k but mine is a more true income since I didn't pad my IPH stat with upgrading cottage, farm, bazaar and fish market type buildings. All my upgrades are on 12, 24 and 48 hour buildings

Thanks for taking part in the survey, guys. :) You're right that this is a poll of "apparent" rather than "effective" IPH, but there is no simple way of measuring the latter. And different people have different objectives playing this game, after all, so please don't feel that you have to defend your IPH stats - the survey's not about "winning", it's intended merely to provide anyone who's curious an idea of where their apparent IPH stands. :)

I completely agree. Myself, I have a mixture of high-level 6/12/24-hour buildings and high-level cottages and farms. The reason for the former is that I am a "low touch" player most days (usually when I'm at work); the latter, that I can be a "high touch" player on occasion (some weekend and holiday days) - and at such times, those frequent-yield buildings really provide good effective income.

I would agree the fish market, bazaar, farm and cottage when upgrade can be a big help to pay for the events if you are using the middle option and tring 10-16 times a day.

Ive been upgrading the caravans - one of them pumps out 1100/hour. When I get the other one there - it'll effectively be paying for the opens.

Haha nope my stats are in the 40 thousands. I just make enough so that the amount people can take from me is less then what the bank would take if I banked the money. Plus there's other ways to successfully no bank if your willing to go to extremes.

CC is ridiculous. I am only 25k defense at level 130 (above average for free player but well below the top players), and I have about a 15 minute window most days to make my collections on MT, loft, condos, upscael club, etc. before they get robbed.

"Final" results (as of 6am UK time): n=48, average=5.4, median=5 to 5.9k, standard deviation=2.0.

Anyone know how to close the poll so we can preserve the current results as a "historical" snapshot? The idea is to conduct regular surveys (say once a month) so we can look back at IPH evolution over time.

Overall KA IPH curve should be more skewed to the left, especially if the newer players are concerned. In fact, the lower the mean - the fastest the players population is growing, as the newly joined tend to have lower IPH

- I am lvl 104 in the middle of whale territory. Whales tend to be outliers, when IPH is concerned, but not only to the right - I routinely see IPH of 15 k, or higher, but also to the left - I so quite a few with serious gem armies (high 5 digits to 6 digits a/d) with REALLY LOW IPH at around 2.5 -4.5k - they don't seem to need gold - can buy whatever they need anyway,,,

Good points, thanks in particular for the info about the whales(!).

I'm sure most realise that results from a survey of forum participants cannot necessarily extrapolated to the wider (non-forum) KA community - I seem to recall having seen a few threads on the differences between the two (albeit possibly on the MW forum rather than the KA one). Nonetheless, it can be nice - and even useful - to have some sort of benchmark.

I personally wouldn't sweat it too much... But yes, 3.1k is pretty respectable, particularly if that's mostly "effective income" (i.e. if you can collect most of it).

I only have slightly higher than that and I'm lvl 55. lol But I can't stand camping. I pve and pvp every time my energy/stamina is filled almost.
