Units in battle etc

So I'm still a bit confused. Each ally allows me to bring 3 units, each with 1 weapon & 1 armor

So if I'm at my current max allowed allies of 400, that should mean I can have 1200 units each with 1 weapon & armor bringing the total to 3600

Right?

If that's the case....AND my profile shows I have enough equipment for all units.......why, in the battle results, does it show my total strength at 2855 & not 3600?

Am I missing something?

I have 446 allies but it caps me at 400 (5 x level)

Any of your weapons or armor 0/1 or 0/3? I don't think they go toward the counts. Buy some cheap 1/3 and 1/5 and see if your stats change.
