What's the longest you've played it OT

Just curious who has had their iPad or other device on lockdown to try for that extra unit in overtime. The second 10 item event I had mine open for four days, never did get number ten. This last event only had to go to for about six hours before I got to 15 and received that unit. Sitting on 10 this time so if I don't get closer to 15 today I probably won't bother

The very first KA event I kept open for 4 days trying to go from 8 to 9 - never got it. The Vial event I kept open for 2 days and went from 10 to 20 and got all the general units. The last event I crashed after 2 days having only gone from 12 to 14 eggs and getting no more units. You just never know.

Seeing as the events finish at 4pm here I normally try and stick it out until I go to sleep around 2-3 am. Last event ended when I was out somewhere and I forgot to leave it open and missed out on OT.

Sorry, but what actually does it mean to "leave it open"? Must you stay on the actual event screen or must you just be logged on to KA or something else? Also, typically with an iPad, at some point in the day you're likely to have the screensaver come on or you flip the magnetic close, and does that affect the OT?

I just leave it on the game screen. If I switch to the forums or something else it reloads and I lose OT.
I'm not sure of how long it takes before it turns of on the iPad, so I just keep tapping the screen to keep it active.
I do know that it resets if I have left it overnight though.

Basically, just don't click HOME button. I had it open for over one week.

Normally I get about 10 mins of OT before the bloody game crashes!

I tried for ot on this event. When I got up for work at 5 this morning, the game had already reset. :(

I ended the game with 9 btw.

Tried today - was OT for about 8 hours.... then the phone rang. Given that I hadn't got any gems in 8 hours, it
probably wasn't a big deal.
