I knew I wouldn't get in the top tiers without using gold. These events are designed to boost gold sales, so non-gold players will rarely come out on top. I just wanted to get to the second item, which I still don't have. :/

Funzio only rewards the gold spenders. The free players just get slapped across the face.

The irony is that if i had won the event where i spent all that gold, i would probably be tempted to do it again. Instead, funzio forever turned me off to spending gold on events.

Only 2 sharts though. I think it might still be true that the odds of obtaining an event item declines as you acquire more. If that is still true, getting 303 must cost a real fortune... Or require some clever way of getting "cheap" gold.

I gave up after collecting after I got 5 shards. It's seems the 'fair' chance isn't very fair at all and the rewards for the cash spent (no gold from me) is better used elsewhere. Epic fail by Gree(d) on this new format and rewards..

I don't think even with gold you could have made up 100 or so shards to get to the top 25. Maybe with about a hundred or so dollars in gold top 250 would have been feesable with a good amount of luck.

I got exact 20 this time, opened 16 per day. Last time I only got 12. I just got 10 rugged box in MW and only 12 in KA. Think that I am extremely lucky in these two days.
