Ok let's break it down

So far event time: 4 days 9 hours . Or 96 hours
L has 250 shards
Assuming he has over 1000 energy & devil take down
Assuming gold opens are about 40% for shards

So if farming someone like ma Shang you get a box every 650 energy

250 shards = 625 attempts

625 attempts * 650 energy per box = 406,250 energy
406,250 energy /1000 per gold reset = 406 resets
406 resets * 10gold = 4060 gold

625 attempts * 15 gold = 9375

625 opens - 96 hours (opening one free per hour) = 529 = the amount of gold resets

529 * 15 gold = 7935


So total gold spent is
7935 + 9375 + 4060 = 21,370
21,370 gold = £958 or $ 1,485

Price per shard
£3.83 or $ 5.94

Expensive

Even if this was a fair event it'd be 1/7 but remember...fair chance is statistically less than 50% for the cash open.

It has to be down below 14% sadly. This makes them even more expensive ._.

A gold open just guarantees you won't fail you can get:

- Deviant Coat

I hate to say it, but I also suspect that at least some of the people who are willing to dump $1000+ on an event like this have another way to get their gold short of buying it outright. Whether that's a line on free itunes cards, a stolen credit card, their mom's credit card, or a cheat, I don't know... but I really don't think that type of spending is possible. I don't doubt the strongest players have spent thousands of dollars across months of play, but I doubt there are more than a couple people out of the entire player base who would dump $1500 on a whim like this.

I learned my lesson and wont use gold on events. Cash ooen has gotten me nine shards and a few z racers and vests. I am fine with that and hope to get a tenth shard.

You missed Enforcer Jacket (or whatever it's called). You know, the one armor item with 10/20 stats, 2 attack stronger than the Deviant Coat for some nonsense reason.

So that would make Shards just a little bit more expensive still.

Yup, got more than a few of those.
while I abmit I will get some gold if I really want a paticular prize like the top 250 this time. I can't see spending the amount they seem to be. Has cost $100 for 19 shards, & only 9 game cash.

This will get worse! Ive noticed from posts that we get events just like another gree game (not sure exactly which one but im sure someone will soon let us know!). When we all cried about top 500/top 50 we saw a screen shot from that game with top 250/top 25. And here we are. It will get worse because this game now has the #1 person in the event winning a weapon with attack 2800 and defense 2400 AND a perk where people attacking you use 4 less members! So if you think this is wild, I cant imagine what that will turn out to be!

Holy crap. Just looked at post six of that thread. That's insane. I can see it now, whoever earns the most junk will receive mammothly overpowered 3000/3000 item and attacking rivals will use 50 less mafia than cap against you.

the only rational explanation is that there is a gold hack.

No one is spending the kind of money it would take to get to the top of this leaderboard.

I think the amount of gold resets is way off. I don't use gold resets, and I'm not even on all day, and I've gotten around 160 chests. I spend 100-200 energy per chest.

It's not gonna work. The hack's nearly a year old and it's been put out in the open which means that Funzio knows about it and has patched the hack. Don't discuss attempting to hack the game on the forum you could get banned.

i drop samurai box with 164 energy and all time in a map, i don't keep onme box, i go drop in one hit all time. i hunt johnny moronic 10 x 164 i got 7/8 box always.. i don't have fight any one, just this guy on map.
