Normally I feel the same way. I will be grateful if I get 9, without a doubt, it's a great unit and I'll feel lucky to have it. but I won't be happy about this event unless I get 10. I'm not going to whine or complain if I don't(just die a little inside maybe), but I really want that bonus.

This is breaking my usual rule of not wanting it too much, but that bonus has too much value to me over the long haul.

I switched to gold when I hit 9 with 3 days left. Thats the quickest I've gotten to 9 with cash, so figured I'd see what kind of results. I thought maybe they increased the odds since the prize was kinda weak. With gold, I've gotten 7 lame units.

I skipped this event... Top prize is terrible!!! Your still gonna have to use gold... Yes to get 30 boss kills you will still have to use gold but with 2 extra free hits you can kill between 1-3 more bosses without using gold and those added boss kills always give indestructible units. If you lucky maybe even a rare here and there.

Plus a 350 att unit is my 2nd strongest unit now......will be 3rd strongest if I can get the general command ship that I think I should be able to do.

I'm trying to camp and increase my iph but due to some raiding to gain money, I got some crates. Only trying to open with FREE chance. A lot of sorrys and I've had 6 opens. Congrats Canuk! I agree about the value of this unit. I'd trade my valor bonus boat for it, and I love that valor bonus. This is IMO the most under rated event prize yet.

People tend not to see past the moment. The immediate reward isn't that great, but 10 and more boss events down the road and the bonus will equal anywhere from 10 to 40 additional units depending on how your attacks scale with the bosses. Some of those will very likely be uncommons and a decent chance for some rares too.

The only boost I think would want over this is lower upgrade cost and decreased upgrade time........I don't have either so glad I got this one.

I like the boost that I can see are there. May 50% more cash from raids has been a life saver for these boss event with how much cash it cost to beat them.

Wasn't too keen on the bonus but began to think maybe it will help with future Boss events - but this last Boss Event was just absolutely ridiculous. Thinking about taking my Allies down to 10 until the next event and then bring it back to 100 per day and see if THAT actually makes a difference.

By coincidence I started mw about 2 weeks ago at same time as first epic boss event....about level 10 or so....zoomed thru the epic boss challenge up to approx round 25... Collected some nice rare units. When 2nd epic boss started was level 30 and have struggled to beat round 10.

I cannot understand why majority underestimate the value of the unit. Yes, there is a chance that boss event will be stopped at some point, but logically expecting that Funzio know what they are doing at least for a few months in advance, you'll participate in 5-6 boss events, because they would not create such a boost unit if they close boss event now and forever. Having in mind that you'll be able to pass additional 2-3 levels and having in mind that you start to struggle not on the first "common" levels, but in higher levels, where a chance of getting uncommons and rares goes up, so in average we speak that the boost of this unit (not taking into account the stats of this unit, which is indestructable) can bring you 5 events x 2 levels x quite high chance of better units.

Let me guess - you would easily pay 1,25m game cash for every uncommon and maybe even for one common indestructable unit. So what is so wrong with the boost, when it grants you like extra 10 indestructable units?

For sure there are better boosts in the game, but current boost also has it's value!

After this, I'm moving up one more level to get into the next prize bracket and then camping except for boss events for a few weeks. I'll chase crates if they have any good(lopsided good attack or defense as opposed to balanced mediocre stats) incremental units, but otherwise sitting them out.

Me either Everson... When I blow a fortune on trying for the boat and don't get it... then I don't try at all on this (maybe 6-7 attempts at best a day using free and cash... and I get it.. it truly shows it's random!

BUT you have to be in it to win it... And I'm always happy for every unit with a def above 16 to ensure my Stealth Bombers (One Day) have another impervious shield to hide behind when attacked.

cant believe my luck. won another event without gold. ok i had 60 bars left and used a goldopen after i couldnt get #7 for over a day. opened fortified sniper so back to cash. with 9 or so hours to go i got the final unit.

This was a "meh" event for me. I wasn't intending to do this one as the top prize doesn't look so great. I didn't get my first crate till toward the end of the second day. Then picked up about 6 crates from one chump.
I set a casual target of 3 "indy" units and just opened crates when I remembered. It was only when I got to 9 that I thought, "hey I might get lucky" here. Woke up at 6am, and got the unit at the first attempt. Went back to sleep for half an hour.
Never kept track of what prizes I got, but I don't think I had many crates to open, all on medium cash chance.
Something like this:
Valor x 2
Sea Cannon x3
Cash x 3
Supply Frigate x 2
Fortified Sniper x 1
Grunt x 2
"Indy" units x 5:D

If you keep your game open when the event ends and don't close it, you can continue to open crates after the event is over. Close the game and it's gone.

i stayed stuck with only 8 walkie talkies. no walkie talkie for the last 3-4 days:), got first 6 on the first day, was surprised by that. I think this event was best at the beggining, but on pair with tough opening at the end just like on the event before.

You can collect money, upgrade buildings or vault etc. Just avoid attacking or doing mission because there is a high chance that your game will crash. You will not get any additional boxes anyway, so make sure you have enough before the event ends.

All events, at least to my knowledge, are for everyone. Boss event included.

However you need to trigger boss with your attacking/raiding action (pvp or pve). So if you are complete camper, you can just sit out the event without participating. Also sometimes you need to update or just close app and start it again to see the new events.

33 hours into OT, and not #9 yet, lots of cash, units and about 4k VPs so far.........with 61 boxes to go, how much longer can I go...............probably until the next MW or KA event starts............

nope. I think if I would have tried harder the first 3 days, I would have probably gotten 10. The first 3 days I had a total of 15 open attempts and I had 9 parts! haha
